Good morning! Happy Tuesday!
Here’s the next edition of What I’m Loving Lately!
Murphy’s dog bed
This dog bed is some of the best money we have ever spent. Our pug fur problems are far from solved, but containing it in a smaller space is definitely making a difference with the cleanliness of our couch!
Vacuum Seal Storage Bags
I still can’t believe we own these. I dunno, I guess I always relate them to late-night infomercials. Haha!
Mal suggested getting some Vacuum Seal Storage Bags to give us some more storage space in our basement. Truthfully, at first, I sort of laughed his suggestion (infomercials came to mind), but these bags have been awesome for storing items that we aren’t currently using. They’re super easy to use, and they really cut down on the amount of space you need!
These 100-Year-Old BFFs Talking About Pop Culture
Oh my gosh, this video made me so happy! It’s definitely worth a watch if you need a good laugh!
Trader Joe’s Mango Sorbet
Ever since I worked with the National Mango Board, I’ve really been digging the fruit. In smoothies and yogurt, straight up fresh, and now in sorbet form. I stumbled upon Trader Joe’s Mango Sorbet when I was there the other day, and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since. It’s the perfect post-dinner treat (with chocolate sprinkles, of course)!
Basket-O-Winter Gear
I bought a big basket at Marshalls the other day for our winter gear, and it’s been the best thing ever””no more random hats, gloves, and scarves all over the house! I also love it because it’s right near the front door, so you can just grab and go or drop off items when you’re done with them. And, the best part: you’re never wasting time, wandering around the house for what you need, when you just want to take the dog for a walk.
Old Navy’s Maternity Line
I know, I know”¦ I’ve written about my love for Old Navy’s Maternity line a number of times now, but I’m really loving it lately. Old Navy had a huge sale last week, and I totally stocked up on new clothes, including a bunch of fun pieces that I bought for our babymoon.
What I bought/favorites:
- Maternity Sleeveless Tie-Waist Tunic
- Maternity Striped-Chiffon Pocket Tank
- Women’s Anchor-Print Gauze Scarf (not maternity, but super cute)
- Maternity Rib-Knit Tanks in Briquette
- Maternity Slub-Knit V-Neck Tees in Dreamy Green
- Women’s Metallic-Finish Boat Shoes in Silver (not maternity, but so fun)
- Maternity Long-Sleeve Slub-Knit Tees in Red and Dark Heather Gray (just $8 each!)
- Maternity Full-Panel Skinny Jeans (finally bought them!)
And, amazingly, I purchased everything online and it ALL fit! I’m always shocked when this happens and pleasantly surprised that I don’t have to make any returns!
If you’re pregnant and none of your clothes fit, I highly recommend checking out Old Navy. I’ve been really happy with what I’ve found there… styles, price, everything!
I made these for dinner the other night, and I forgot how delicious and easy they are to make. I will definitely keep these in our regular dinner rotation!
