Hi, friends!
My recent “What I’m Loving Lately” post was so fun to write and such a hit with you guys, I decided to write another one this week. That said, here’s what I’m loving lately!
Spinning
I’m really starting to enjoy spinning. I recently bought a Groupon to a local studio, so I’ve been popping in about once a week to take an hour-long class. In the past, I always thought spinning was kind of boring, but I’m really starting to dig it, especially since it’s not too hard on your body, which I definitely appreciate now that I am pregnant.
Old Navy Maternity Rockstar Low-Panel Jeggings
Last week, I totally got sucked into one of those email blasts advertising a sale at Old Navy. I was *only* planning to do a little window shopping since I just purchased a bunch of new maternity clothes, but I ended up buying a pair of Maternity Rockstar Low-Panel Jeggings. Oops. But, hey, they were on clearance (just $14.97), and I got free shipping with my Luxe BR card and 7% cash back through Ebates. Not too bad, right? And they’re super comfy. Maternity pants rule. I’m actually still debating buying a pair of the Maternity Full Panel Skinny Jeans, but I’m waiting patiently for them to go on sale since I don’t quite need them yet.
Almond butter + marmalade
Ever since I created a delicious Toasted Almond Butter & Marmalade Sandwich (with Turkey Bacon) recipe for the Almond Board of California, I’ve been loving the flavor combination. I’ve been mixing almond butter and marmalade into oatmeal and spreading it on toasted English muffins and two-ingredient pancakes. Mmm! So good!
Belli products
A few weeks ago, I bought some Belli Elasticity Belly Oil, which I really love and, since then, I’ve purchased a couple more products from the line: Belli Acne Control Spot Treatment and Belli Skin Care Fresh Start Pre-Treatment Scrub. Thanks to some crazy pregnancy hormones, I’ve had a few bad breakouts during my second trimester, so I figured a more natural approach to treating them would be the best option for Baby Haupert.
Before I bought these Belli products, I would only treat my breakouts a few times a week with a very small amount of acne product, which honestly didn’t do much. I am definitely seeing an improvement with the Belli Acne Control Spot Treatment, but probably because I’m using it on a regular basis. (There’s also a Belli Anti Blemish Facial Wash in the line, which I didn’t buy, but only because I have a face wash that I like.) The Belli Skin Care Fresh Start Pre-Treatment Scrub is AMAZING! It’s a fine grain, minty and refreshing scrub that exfoliates and makes my skin so soft. I love it so much, and I totally plan to keep buying it even after pregnancy.
Lucie’s List
Elizabeth told me about Lucie’s List the other day, and it’s already been so helpful, especially with regard to the baby registry stuff and newborn essentials. (Mal and I are so clueless!) Be sure to sign up for the email updates!
Trader Joe’s Pizza Veggie Burgers
The Pizza Veggie Burgers from Trader Joe’s are incredible! They have so much flavor and they’re only 130 calories with 9 grams of protein. They make a great snack, and they’re a healthy option when you’re having a major pizza craving!

I never thought I’d say I miss spinning but man do I! I need to find a Groupon so I can get back to it.
Have you had the Cauliflower Mash @ Fat Cat?! Oh my, I had no idea they even had it, and I could not get enough of it!! Sooo stinkin’ good (but, everything they make is amazing!)
I haven’t, but I bet I would love it!!
Spinning can be awesome only if the music is good! My butt always kills me from that little hard itty bitty seat!
I love those veggie burgers mixed in with spaghetti, sauce and shredded mozzarella.
Love these posts, I always find something new to try!!!
Hahaha love lucie’s list! I discovered it a few months back and it is HILARIOUS! And slightly scary. Who knew Old Navy made such awesome maternity clothes?! And at such a great price point too!
I don’t have the best skin and my fear is having really bad skin during pregnancy. So I went to my dermatologist (because most all acne treatments are off limits while pregnant) and she recommended the Belli products! I was excited to see them on your post and that you enjoy them! I will certainly be purchasing them!
I really like them so far, and I love that they’re natural too!
are the pizza veggie burgers gluten free??
They’re not.
Speaking of what you are loving, I recently got a heart rate monitor that I am not loving. It jumps around a lot and isn’t very accurate (this could be due in part because I couldn’t get a super tight fit). Do you happen to use a heart rate monitor or know of a good one that isn’t too overly expensive?
I don’t, sorry. I’ve never really used one.
Ahhh I Love Love LOVE all TJ goodies! I can’t wait until they open Denver’s in February!
I’ve been eyeing those pizza burgers for awhile–i think it’s finally time to take the plunge! They look delicious
Do it! They’re incredible!
Hey Tina. Is the marmelade sugar-free or normal one? I am going for the free sugar one, which ooook BUT everytime I eat I repeat to myself “it’s sugar free=it’s good”…I don’t know if you know what I mean. Do you suggest to eat the “normal” one in small quantites or to just stick with it? Which not that to be honest
It’s the normal one. I typically try to stay away from sugar-free stuff.
I loved Lucies List when I was pregnant too but I wish I would never have read the last one before I gave birth about labor and what happens to your body after. Sometimes it’s better not to know and for me, that is one of those times. Freaked me out.
