What I’m Loving Lately 74

Good morning and very happy Friday to you! It’s time for another edition of What I’m Loving Lately, and it’s quite the round-up this week. I hope you enjoy it! 🙂

Pumpkin Spice Cheerios – Oh my gosh, I can’t get enough of Pumpkin Spice Cheerios in my life. But, truthfully, I feel a little guilty about opening the box so soon. My friends from General Mills sent me some to try a few weeks ago, and I had every intention of waiting until at least September to open the box. Oops. Well, now I guess it’s pumpkin season for me? 🙂 All I know is that I will definitely buy more soon. They’re made from real pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, so they’re the perfect blend of pumpkin + spice. Rumor has it that Pumpkin Spice Cheerios are on store shelves now, so keep a look out for them!

Motocrossed Jacket – I love this sweater/jacket so much! It’s definitely a must-have for fall and only $38!!

Trader Joe’s Dried Baby Bananas – Mmm! These babies are perfect for snacking, especially when you’re craving something sweet and carb-y. The only ingredient is dried bananas, so there’s nothing added to them.

5 Fitness Bloggers We Love – I’m so honored to be included!

Lucky Finn Cafe – Oh, man. This love is totally for the locals, but I am obsessed with Lucky Finn Cafe in Scituate. It’s absolutely adorable, serves awesome coffee, and I can’t wait to visit again!

This Patriots sign – I know some people it would be perfect for! 🙂

18 Ways Crossfit Will Actually Change Your Life – Yep.

Melissa & Doug Felt Food – We own both the pizza and sandwich sets, and they’re so great for helping Quinn to expand his vocabulary while enjoying himself by making food for Mama and Dada. 🙂

Bess Army Overcoat – I’m on the hunt for the perfect fall jacket. I like this one below.

As well as this one: The North Face – Bombay Jacket. I know they’re pretty different, but I’m in the market for an olive green jacket. Thoughts? Opinions?

CVS Health Children’s Gummy Dinos – Qman seriously loves these gummy dinos. So much, in fact, he had a meltdown over wanting more of them! Poor kid. I’m so glad that he likes them, but I love even more that he’s getting some nutrients in his (picky kid) diet! #win

iPad Mini Case – After a few close calls with our iPad, we finally bought a kid-friendly case for it. Qman especially likes carrying it around by its handle!

Is it pumpkin season yet?

Happy weekend, friends! I hope you enjoy every minute of it! 🙂

  1. I like the North face jacket – I know if it was me I would get a lot more wear out of that one. Practical but really cute too!
Coming into spring here in Aus but I would be all over those Cheerios if I could – who needs for it to be September! 😉

  2. Go for the first jacket! We purchased a kid-friendly iPad cover that Mitch can tote around as well and it’s been a life saver. His is shaped like an alien, so he hangs onto the arms. It’s hilarious!

  3. I can hardly believe it’s pumpkin season already. Where has this year gone? I made a lentil soup last week for a sponsored post and was sweating like crazy on 100 degrees. The year may be zipping by but I am definitely looking toward to some cooler weather!

  4. Just as a heads up, the north face jacket runs small and is very short! I ordered it online last year and had to return it. I ended up finding a very similar style at Eddie Bauer of all places! Love the olive green color though!

  5. OH my Gosh. I’m super pregnant and had I known I was going to crave cheerios this time around, I would have seriously bought stock in General Mills. But Pumpkin Spice Cheerios. I think these just won my heart over! I’m local (live in Hanson) so if you see them, please share local stores so I can run out immediately and grab them 🙂

Also – I have a random question for you. I noticed at one point you belonged to CrossFit 781, and then transferred to Salt Shack? Both boxes are equidistant from my house. Was there a reason for the switch? If it’s personal, you don’t have to share. After I deliver this baby (2 weeks from today!) I am done having kids (3 in 3 years is quite enough for me…) But I really really really want to join CrossFit to start feeling better about myself again. The two above are closest to me, Salt Shack actually being a bit closer, but don’t want to pick a box that isn’t welcoming to new comers etc. I figured you’re the best person to ask for local boxes 🙂

    Thanks so much.

    1. I wonder if we live near each other? 🙂 Both boxes are about the same distance from our house too. The main reason was because SS has childcare; 781 doesn’t. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!

  6. I love the Northface jacket, definitely something I would buy. But as another commenter stated, I’ve actually found some great coats/jackets at Eddie Bauer and with similar styles!

I’m not ready for pumpkin season, I just can’t get myself to embrace it at least until September, I love summer too much!

  7. Just a note, I was looking for a utility jacket and found a good one at J.crew. It’s called the downtown field jacket. I got the mossy brown, which is actually more of a green/brown. My sister has it and loves it. The fit is really flattering and comes reg, tall, and petite…

  8. Can I ask how you decided to start giving Quinn vitamins? I have asked our pediatricians (we have had 2) and a few PAs at Urgent Care visits, and they always say they don’t recommend them. Does your doc say you should be giving them? Ugh, my guy eats pretty well, but I hate the idea of something missing…

  9. Pumpkin Spice Cheerios?!?! I’m in! (although I think Trader Joe’s had pumpkin O’s last fall… might be interesting to do a taste test! I love ALL things pumpkin).

I think you should get BOTH jackets – because of where you live, one is a great fall jacket and the other is for colder weather. 😉

    I love the felt food!

My cousin has a son named Finn but they live in CO, so doubt they’ll be heading to the East Coast any time soon – but it’s always fun to see his name ‘up in lights’.

  10. Are you familiar with Simple Mills crackers/baking mixes? I just discovered them this week and am obsessed! I know that’s not pumpkin (which I am so excited for!) or olive jacket related, but just thought it might be something you’ll be “loving lately” soon!

  11. I’m sad to see the Quarter Deck is no longer in Scituate (now Lucky Finn) — it was such a great store where we always took out of town era when they visited. Happy to see a nice shop took its place, though! I’ll have to check this place out next time I’m visiting my parents.

  12. RIP Quarterdeck! (where Lucky Finn is now). I had heard it was going out of business, but hit home with this picture.

  13. I love the Bess Army jacket. It looks like it might be longer, which would be nice over longer shirts/sweaters. I always run into the problem where I love my outfit but then think I look silly when my jacket is way too short and everything is sticking out.

  14. I definitely like the Northface one better! Also, my fiance knows how Pumpkin obsessed I am, but is making me wait until September for all things fall :O I always try to rush the autumn season, but I need to learn to appreciate the summer too 😛

  15. It was pumpkin season for me last week. Bring on the pumpkin flavored anything! If only the weather could get a bit colder right?! And looking for a fall jacket is such a pain. I find so many cute ones but they are all so dang expensive. If you find a cute one in a good price range let me know 😀 I’m also pretty sure you are addicted to good quality coffee just like me lol
