This afternoon, Mal and I attended a wonderful welcome home party for one of our friends, who is visiting from San Francisco for the next week.
It was supposed to be a pool party, but the weather didn’t cooperate. Even still, everyone had a great time catching up and hanging outĀ next to the pool! š
At the party, there were lots of “adult beverages.”
And a couple of dogs.
And plenty of good food!
I didn’t take very many photos because I was busy chatting away with friends, but I managed to drink a couple of beers and munch on some food while there.
I ate a million pita chips. (I have a pita chip problem.)
I’m bummed that we had to leave the party early, but Mal and I have a special double-date this evening and we need to “pretty” ourselves!
See ya later! š

I have a similar pita problem! Salty, crunchy perfection. The Athenos ones at HLS were amazing. Looks like a fun Saturday afternoon- enjoy! š
I’ve never had a pita chip..I’m guessing they’re addictive!?
Pita chips are sooo good. I’m having some at my friend’s lingerie shower I’m hosting this weekend. I don’t care if no one else cares. They will be there.
Pita chips…they are addictive! Enjoy your evening.
Pita chips are addicting, I’m glad I’m not the only one with a pita chip problem
I can’t buy pita chips…too tempting. Great pics!
Pita chips are so good! Lately, I have been ridiculously addicted to salt and vinegar kettle chips too.
Have fun on your date tonight!
OH, and I am addicted to pita chips…
What an awesome time! i usually don’t take many pics at social events because I am too busy having a blastyy!
I’m addicted to pita chips too! Especially the Stacy’s cinnamon sugar ones dipped in cream cheese!
I love pita chips, it’s the salt and the crunch that are so addicting.
I, too, have a pita chip problem, and I am glad I now how a place to talk about it:)
I need to start going to cookouts that have grilled zucchini instead of baked beans and greasy chips.
Got to love a pool party on a beautiful day!
If pita chips were gluten free then I’d have a SERIOUS problem…especially with the cinnamon sugar ones š Enjoy your day!
Love that pic of your puppy with Mal in the background. So cute!
Oh those beers look good! I’ve never heard of that brewing company before…what’s your review?
The photo of Mal with your puppy is awesome. You are such a good photographer!!
It is so hard sometimes finding a balance between living life and documenting it. Viewing with your eyes or through a camera lens…poor weather makes for poorly-lit photos anyway! Glad you gave yourself a chance to enjoy.
I have that same pita chip problem! Like the earlier reader commented, it’s good to know i’m not alone.
Have fun on your special date! Maybe you can call this the Poolside Party. š
Love pool parties! I bet Murphy does too. š
love the pinwheels! looks fun!
Yeah,
I have a chip problem too. Especially at parties. Or home in the evening. Well anytime. Enjoy your night out !
Aww cute party! Have fun on your date š
It looks like you had a blast. I’m sorry the weather didn’t cooperate! We had a cloudy day at the beach but still ended up sun burnt!
Somehow I can’t help thinking that the friends were more important than the swimming anyway š Can’t wait to read what your date was!!
my husband calls me “lynnie” – i like that sign š
It looks like you still had fun despite the weather.
And all pictures of Murphy are obviously adorable!
Pita chips are seriously a HUGE weakness of mine… they are just so good!
