Good morning! Happy Monday, friends!

What a whirlwind week last week was. Holy cow. I think I am still recovering. Of course, it was an awesome week of adventures (Mexico! Boulder!), but I am so, so, so happy to be home. I was just telling Monica this morning that I when I am living my “normal” life, I crave travel and adventure, but as soon as I am off doing those things, I just want to be home with my boys. Is that strange? I’m strange, so maybe that’s it? Anyway, I had a wonderful weekend at home. Here are my top five highlights from it!

#1: Quinn’s first baseball game.

Quinn and I joined my friend Marisa to watch her fiance’s team play on Saturday afternoon. She brought her dogs and Quinn had quite the nice time playing with them. He got lots of doggie kisses and, at one point, he put his entire finger in one of their nostrils. It was pretty funny and neither of them realized what happened! Haha!

#3: Harpoon 5-Miler with the lovely ladies of KFIT.

Mentally, I totally wasn’t in the game for this race, so I planned to do the best I could and focus on having fun with the KFIT ladies after the race. Well, I somehow managed to pull off a PR for my 5 mile race. Not too shabby! I finished in 40:11 (8:03).

#4: Lunch at Scarlet Oak Tavern with my favorite guys.

I ordered a chicken sandwich with a sun-dried tomato aioli and French fries. Delish!

#5: Quinn is almost walking. He is SO CLOSE. It’s going to happen any day now!
