There were good times to be had at the VinoVoyage III last night!
Gordon’s did it again! This was their third VinoVoyage in about a year. I attended VinoVoyage I and II, so I knew exactly what to expect last night… and I was excited about it! π
The event starting with a sparkling wine reception on the top deck of the boat.
At the reception was a nice spread of nibble-ies and passed appetizers. I munched on a couple of breaded artichoke hearts and scallops wrapped in bacon.
There was also live music.
Mal was unavailable last night, so I invited my friend, Jen, as my date for the evening.
We both love white wines, so mostly stuck to tasting them.
As you know, I do some part-time social media work for Gordon’s, so as a thank you, they hooked me up with a sweet VIP ticket this time!
The VIP ticket gave Jen and me access to a special tasting area with a bunch of fancy wines.
I found a couple of wines and a champagne that I liked in the VIP area, but I don’t think my pallet is sophisticated enough to appreciate these types of wines. I was just as happy drinking the “cheap” stuff. What can I say, I’m a $10 bottle gal! π
Even still, I had a great time trying some new wines. The photos below are some of my favorite (affordable) wines from the evening.
VinoVoyage III also included a carb-o-licious dinner.
I helped myself to some cheese tortellini + a dinner roll.
And a few desserts! π
I enjoyed this plate x 2. White wine + dessert = heaven! π
Towards the end of the night, the dance floor opened up and people really started to get down. (I guess that’s what a few glasses of wine will to do ya! ;-))
Jen and I weren’t in the mood for dancing, so we went outside on the deck where we chatted and enjoyed the view of the beautiful Boston skyline.
Breakfast post coming soon. I’m running behind this morning! π―

*laughs* I so wish your ‘plate x 2″ comment had been referring to the photo ABOVE, of the entire tray! π
I love cruising the Boston harbor. What a great night shot!
I love wine tasting, too π
I saw a sign for pumpkin wine while out today and thought of you. π
