After eating a whole bunch of Pumpkin-Chocolate Chip Dough Balls this afternoon, I completely crashed and burned. I’m actually not surprised considering my pathetic lunch (salad + sweet potato fries) and the six sugary dough balls that I consumed. I was useless for the rest of the day.
Clearly, the pug was too. It must have been all of those Peanut Butter Treats! 😉
This is how we spent the majority of the evening:
Cute and cuddly, but useless.
Mal didn’t get home from work until really late, so we postponed Christmas shopping until tomorrow. (I know, we’re totally those people who wait until the last minute””but at least it’s not Christmas Eve yet, right?!)
Dinner was fast and simple tonight. I had a ham and cheese sandwich with cranberry mustard on whole wheat bread.
On the side: Kettle Backyard Barbeque Chips and tomato slices with salt and pepper.
Fast, simple, tasty.
So, I actually wasn’t totally useless today. I went to the gym, where I ran 3 miles and did the elliptical for 30 minutes. I also cleaned and organized our china cabinet.
Remember the Great Wall of China? Well, I finally put it away!
Somehow, I’m exhausted after today, which makes zero sense.
P.S. I saw your comments about a sugar cleanse. I seriously need one in my life, so if you’re game, I’m starting MONDAY!
