Tuesday: Happiness Is…

CrossFit! Duh. I did this workout L2.5 (45 pounds for OHS) and finished in 17:25. My double unders suprisingly weren’t terrible!

  1. Happiness today is a new pair of linen pants and a Tommy Bahama candle that smells like Hawaii. Oh and sleep. Like I’m really excited to go to sleep tonight! And brownies. And Pure Barre. I think that’s it. Oh and cupcakes that someone brought to work.

  2. I never knew it until today, but I learned happiness from one of your tricks. For my afternoon snack, I microwaved almond butter with blueberries and strawberries and put the wonderful mix on top of toasted Ezekiel bread. Holy goodness!

  3. Getting to see one of my best friends today – haven’t seen her in a year and a half!!!!

  4. Happiness is…(at the moment) passing all the beautiful crape myrtle trees on my walk to work in the morning with the sun beaming down.

  5. Agree on the post workout endorphin high! On that note, I’m curious how you’ve gone resuming Crossfit? The reason I ask is I’ve just taken a month or so off exercise due to illness and I’m very nervous about how much fitness I’ve lost. How have you motivated yourself when things that were once effortless are difficult (if this is the case). Perhaps a future post 🙂

  9. Happiness is the moment I get home from work and my baby’s face lights up. I love that you’ve been posting WODs – they motivate me to do some new workouts during my lunch hour. I just take from them what I can – I loved Mac and Cheese!

  10. Totally agree on the post-workout endorphins! I’m also finding that happiness is also a puppy sleeping in your lap while you catch up on all the blogs you’ve missed lately. I just brought home a little guy last week, and he’s so much fun.
