Here’s the winning smoothie from the Silk blogger competition! Just in time for summer!
I’m completely obsessed with this smoothie. The flavors are incredible together. Banana, pineapple, mint, and coconut combine to make a refreshingly delicious and tropical-tasting smoothie. A little bit of honey adds a touch of sweetness and the Silk Pure Coconut Vanilla gives it a rich, creamy texture. With only five ingredients, this smoothie is super easy to make, so I hope you decide to try it!
Ingredients:
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup crushed pineapple (I used canned)
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 cup Silk Pure Coconut Vanilla
Directions: Combine ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Makes 1 smoothie

This post is sponsored by Silk. The thoughts and opinions expressed are all my own. And, yes, this smoothie is really as delicious as it sounds!

Looks delish!
I would have never thought of using mint in a smoothie but I love the idea!! And I always have Silk almond milk in my fridge so I am getting that coupon!!!
Mmmm…this looks amazing! I have all the ingredients to make this one too…yes! đ
This sounds like it would be good with some rum in it–kind of like a pina colada?? Just sayin’…
Ahh! I’ve been reading your blog for quite sometime and have always enjoyed it đ Having said that…and I know you make a living from it now, but you’ve kind of jumped the shark. It’s pretty much just full of “sponsored” posts and all of your sponsored trips. I respect that in the blogger world this probably makes you pretty successful and am happy for you, but this lowly reader is getting board with it :/ This isn’t meant to flame you, just an honest reader opinion.
mint and banana is an interesting combo.
That looks delicious. We love Silk products!

That sounds incredible! I LOVE mint flavor in about anything đ
I’m not a big fan of conconut, but this sounds deilcious so I will give it a try :).
Looks YUMMY. I’ve been loving smoothies lately and will definitely give this combo a try!
Looks almost too pretty to drink.
That looks super delicious and I don’t even like mint!!
I am making this stat!
YUM!! Looks amazing and kinda like a virgin pina colada!
Also, Happy Belated Bday! Hope you had a great day. đ
this sounds like the ultimate summer refreshment, especially after a hot run. i think frozen pineapple would work great, too.
Yum…I definitely want to give this a try!
mint is the single most refreshing thing you can add to anything really. Fresh basil comes close but not close enough..
Yumm! I need to try this! đ
I think that smoothie sounds great, and a great variation from the over used green monster (which I make every morning).
I am going to try this right away! I wonder how it would taste with some protein powder in it? Thanks for sharing the recipe!
@Christine @ http://www.idratherbesweating.com:
It tastes great with or without protein powder. So long as you don’t overdo it the mint and honey provide that ‘protein relief’. Absolutely love it and so glad you shared it with us.
That looks amazing! I will be making this today…mint is one of my favorite flavors!! Thank you for sharing!
Now if I was in Hawaii, that would make it all perfect! đ
This sounds sooo good! I printed that coupon and then I was so bummed when I couldn’t find the Silk Latte at our local grocery store the other day! đ
I haven’t been able to find it either!
Coconut, pineapple, and mango are my top three favorite smoothie ingredients!
This was so good. I thought I remembered the recipe and I forgot the banana and added ice instead. Yummmm! This recipe was how I christened my brand-spankin new Vita-mix!
So glad you liked it!!!
Made this a couple times, whole family loves it!
I pinned this recipe ages ago and after this morning’s run I wanted a shake but something new- loved this!! Used unsweetened vanilla almond milk, in place of the coconut (although I can’t wait to try it with the coconut) and used maple syrup to sweeten. Yum!!
So glad you liked it!!
