I’m home! Hooray!
As much as I love traveling, I really love coming home to my guys. I always miss them so much when I’m gone.
[rewind to yesterday morning]
Monica and I both had early flights home, so we arranged for the Super Shuttle to pick us up at the hotel and bring us to the airport.

Snack
On the ride, I snacked on a KIND bar. Maybe my stomach was still on East coast time because it wanted to eat ASAP. I couldn’t even wait to get to the airport! Ha!
Breakfast
When we arrived at the airport, Monica and I grabbed bagel egg sandwiches (at a place with a really long line – we figured people knew something we didn’t) and then hit up Seattle’s Best Coffee for iced coffees. Egg-cellent breakfast!
After breakfast, Monica and I both needed to catch our flights, so we said goodbye and headed our separate ways. It was sad. I don’t know when I am going to see her again.
Snacks
I thought about buying lunch on the plane, but I wasn’t super hungry, so I just snacked.
The flight was 5.5 hours, so I did some blogging (my crap-tastic computer died after 1.5 hours) and magazine reading (Real Simple and Woman’s Health), and before I knew it, I was back home in Boston.
Mal and Murphy picked me up from the airport, so the first thing I did when I saw them was give them the biggest hugs and kisses. I was so happy to see their adorable faces!
Dinner
Mal planned take-out sushi for Sunday night’s meal, so we placed our order and picked it up on the drive home from the airport.
We ordered pan-seared pork gyoza.
And a bunch of rolls to share.
After dinner, I enjoyed a package of Peanut M&Ms that I snagged from one of the afternoon breaks at BlogHer Food.
Question of the Day
What’s the first thing you do when you get home from a trip?
Besides hugging and kissing my guys, I open the mail and then start unpacking.

The first thing I do when I’m back from a trip is unpack. Hate clutter and if it doesn’t get done then, who knows when it’ll get done.
