It was a gorgeous day in downtown Boston yesterday! It was a little chilly, but beautiful and sunny at the same time. My doctor’s appointment went well. It was short and sweet like I expected. My doctor wants to wean me off the Uceris over the next few weeks, which, truthfully, I am really worried about.
Hellooooo! I’m having a blast here in Orlando! After sleeping in a little bit on Friday morning, our group headed over to the race expo at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. Sarah, Julie, and I called each other the night before and coordinated our outfits for the day.
Bright and early on Saturday morning, I ran Mickey’s Jingle Jungle 5K, a holiday-themed fun run through Animal Kingdom. I met our group at 5:30 AM to head over to the start. The sun was just starting to rise when we arrived.
Hi, guys! First and foremost: A huge, massive, enormous THANK YOU to those of you who donated to Chad’s Lung Transplant Rehabilitation Fund! Our 1st annual Friendsgiving was a huge success! Our friends Josh and Courtney hosted this year’s event and next year someone else among the group will host. I love the idea of sharing the hosting role””so fun! The evening started with drinks, apps, and lots of catching up.
Good morning and happy Hump Day! Yesterday included all sorts of delicious food! Listen to this tasty day of eats: A two-ingredient pancake with almond butter on top””I also added a little maple syrup after I snapped this photo. Zaftigs for lunch! Bagel chips and cream cheese.

Good morning and happy, happy Friday! Breakfast My day started with Dunkin’ Donuts! Yay! Last night, when Mal and I were in bed about to fall asleep, we started talking about breakfast this morning. Mal likes to treat himself to Dunkin Donuts on Fridays (he loves their iced coffee and bagel sandwiches).
Yesterday morning, I woke up to the sound of sizzling bacon. Ooh, yes. My wonderful and amazing husband was in the kitchen cooking us breakfast. Yay! On the weekends, I’m usually the one who gets up first and starts making breakfast.
