Whoa, July, where the heck did you go? This month really flew by, which means here are my top 12 favorite posts from July!
As cheesy as it may sound, four years ago today, I married my best friend. Mal rules for a lot of reasons, but my favorite is that we always have so much fun together””whether it’s doing CrossFit, traveling, drinking beers, or simply making up spur-of-the-moment games to play together””we always manage to make each other smile.
Missed Part 1? Here it is! On the morning of the Boilermaker 15K, our plan was to leave the house at 6:15 AM to get everyone to the start line on time. I have a whole pre-race routine, so I woke up at 5:15, ate breakfast, got dressed, and did my thing.
Yesterday ruled. I had such a nice time with M & m! Breakfast My morning started with a bowl of Greek yogurt mixed with fresh blueberries and trail mix. After breakfast, I got myself ready to go to CrossFit which included mixing up an amino acid drink to take with me.
I saw this post on Janetha’s and Lindsay’s blogs last week and I thought it was really sweet, so I decided to do it on CNC. The simple things in life really are the best things in life! A – Almonds. I’m pretty sure I’m going to turn into one at the rate I eat them throughout the day.
Hi, guys! Let’s get right to it. Fun day to recap! Breakfast Our friends Erin and Ping (pug) came to visit bright and early yesterday morning. Erin (and Ping) had already eaten breakfast, so Mal made a couple of bagel egg and cheese sandwiches for us.
Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a fabulous Tuesday! Workout As expected, today’s WOD was a good one: For time: 2000 meter run 2000 meter row Ever since the Boilermaker 15K, I haven’t run very much (that race kicked my butt), so I was psyched to get out there and run today.
I have some exciting news to share with you guys! On June 1, 2013, I’m running the ZOOMA Annapolis Half Marathon & 10K with the ZOOMA race series! Never heard of ZOOMA? It’s an all-women’s race series that puts on boutique (aka “fancy”) events in various destinations around the country with a fun girls’ weekend in mind.
Hooray! Our “tiny HUGE” party was a huge success! What a fun time! Mal was ready to party. Ping”¦ not so much. (How adorable is he?!) The food was definitely the highlight of the day. On the menu: mini pizzas made from homemade (omg, delicious) dough. Sliders. Pasta salad made with tiny and HUGE shells.
Ahhhhhh! The CrossFit Games are absolutely amazing! I keep referring to them as “CrossFit Christmas” because they’re so fun! Again, a huge THANK YOU to GNC and Reebok for making this trip happen for me. I am forever grateful! On Friday, Heather, Kelly, and I arrived at the Games around 10:30 AM.
