Reebok Fit Hub Store Opening in New York City

What a cool event! Thank you so much for inviting me, Reebok and Fitfluential! Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of attending the opening of Reebok‘s new Fit Hub concept store in New York City. The Fit Hub was designed to inspire people to move, train, get fit and have fun while doing it.

I love a good muffin, so when I thought about what I would eat for breakfast and snack on during my upcoming travels, this tasty treat immediately popped into my head. But, I didn’t want to make any old muffin. (You know the ones that leave you hungry just a couple of hours later, right?)

Hi, guys! Happy Tuesday! Check out who decided to get comfy in my office chair this afternoon: Working hard or hardly working? He’s so darn cute. Breakfast Today’s breakfast was almond butter, banana, chia seeds, and cinnamon in a whole wheat wrap with a glass of iced coffee with almond milk in it.

Hello, hello! Happy Hump Day! Let’s get right to the food, so I can answer the carb question that I’ve received a bunch from readers lately. Dinner Last night’s dinner was a winner””definitely a keeper. We had Grilled Honey-Mustard Chicken with Arugula and Plum Salad.

My Break-Up Letter

Exciting news! I was recently asked to be a fitmixer Ambassador!!   Awhile back, you might remember, my friend Janetha sent me some of fitmixer’s products to try. I immediately fell in love with the vanilla protein powder and, soon after, accepted the company’s offer to become one of their brand ambassadors.

The time has come to show you guys our new bathroom!! Are you ready? Here’s a quick history of how it’s looked over the years: Here’s how the re-do went down: Demo day. Out with the old. In with new tile. Hello, new floor! Hello, new vanity and toilet! And, finally, the walls were painted.

When I last left you, I was on my way back to Boston via Bolt Bus. Theodora, Ashley, and I arrived at South Station just before 3:00 PM and then hopped in a cab to the Hyatt Regency Cambridge for the 2012 Healthy Living Summit.

Our Vacation to Oregon

After our paddleboarding adventures yesterday morning, Mal and I visited Bend again to explore some more. We arrived late in the afternoon and then wandered around Wall Street and Bond Street, popping into cute shops and enjoying the sights and sounds.

The Whole9 Seminar was awesome. It was exactly what I expected and really helped me connected the dots with regard to my health and ulcerative colitis. The ”˜9′ in Whole9 comes from these 9 factors, which Melissa and Dallas Hartwig, the creators, believe are all important for optimal health.

    Have you heard of Dandy Blend? It’s a great coffee substitute…you can’t get it a lot of places and I ordered some on amazon, but I highly recommend you try it out 🙂
