Things I Bought On Amazon This Week

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

I’m not sure if I should be proud or embarrassed by how much we order from Amazon. They just make it so darn easy! Shop, click, and whatever it is arrives on your doorstep in just a couple of days, if not the very next day. You can’t beat the convenience!

Last week was an especially hot week with regard to deliveries to our home. And, hopefully, you guys will get a kick out of this post and not flame me for the environmental impact. We honestly do our best with timing/bundling shipments and recycle everything we receive, so I hope that doesn’t become the main focus on this blog post. I really just wanted a share what we ordered. I’m nosey and like seeing what people order, so I hope you guys enjoy this look inside our Amazon Prime deliveries!

Question of the Day

What’s the last thing you ordered from Amazon?

How often do you order from Amazon?

  1. Menstrual cups are a great alternative to tampons. I’ve been using the diva cup for over a decade and absolutely love it!

  2. I’ve tried Cora with success, also L. Organics and both are at target!
Cute pullovers, hard to believe spring is coming with snow today
My last amazon purchase was rainbow light kids vitamins and Nike sunlight protect sandals, both for my 5yo.

  3. Honestly, I make Amazong my last resort. In today’s society I am terrified that if we don’t stop letting Amazon “take over” we will eventually have NO retail stores to go to and with retail stores constantly closing the higher the unemployment rate. So honestly, I stay away from Amazon … I might use them to search for things and then I will try to locate it at a local retailer and IF I can’t find it in stores I will then go and order it on Amazon. For example I had to buy some yoga pants this week and I couldn’t find the ones I was looking for in stores … so I ordered from Amazon and it was shockingly delivered TODAY (on a Sunday). I may also order the sweatshirt that you posted on instagram as well. 🙂

  4. I’m glad I’m not the only one with an Amazon addiction! I use the same collagen in my morning coffee and I love it!

  5. I’m an Amazon Prime girl too! I LOVE seeing what other people buy, it’s just so fun and interesting:) Thanks for sharing! I pay attention to a lot of the products you choose/purchase bc I know you’ve done your research and many times I will buy the same items. You have saved me a lot of work LOL! 🙂

  6. I love Amazon and used it so much when I was living in D.C. and L.A. because of convenience. Now that I’m living back in New Orleans, I’ve actually only used it once and it was to order my fav probiotics, which I can actually buy at my local Whole Foods. I want to make it a priority to shop locally, so I only plan to use Amazon as a last resort now. And when I DO use Amazon, I shop though Amazon Smile so a percentage of my order gets donated to a charity of my choice. Do that!! Here’s the link:

  7. Sadly most of the packaging is not recyclable. The mixed paper/plastic envelopes, the plastic cushions, etc. The cardboard is really the only thing that’s recyclable. I use Amazon too and am not trying to shame you in any way. It’s just a bummer I struggle with personally.
