I am stuffed. 😕

The menu was pre-set, but we had a choice of salad, entree, and dessert.
To start, everyone enjoyed a piece of Jumbo Shrimp with “atomic” horseradish. Thankfully, we were warned that the horseradish was super hot, so no damage was done! 😉 The horseradish was on par with wasabi, so, of course, I loved it!
For the salad course, I chose the Chopped Salad, which was an assortment of chopped veggies served with a light dressing, shredded Parmesan, and feta cheese.
For my entree, I ordered the Ahi Tuna, which ended up being the biggest portion ever! It was pretty much an entire tuna!! I ate quite a bit, but it still looked like I barely made a dent. I felt terrible wasting so much of it. 😕
Dessert was excellent: Chocolate Layer Cake!! 😀
By the end of the meal, I was pretty full, but I still managed to eat all of the frosting off of the cake, which is why I feel so stuffed right now. The cake definitely put me over the edge!
I’m on East coast time, so it’s WAY past my bedtime. We have an early start tomorrow morning, so I am heading straight to bed. This time zone thing totally messes me up!
Good night, folks! 😀

Wow, you picked some winners! I love chopped salad, I think I need to make myself one here in the near future!
Mmm.. cake 🙂
Looks like y’all are having a blast!
I think I would have let that cake push me over the edge – looks scrummy!!
I can never pass up frosting either! It’s just too good!!!
wow! I find that usually portions are smaller on preset menu’s for groups..that is an insane amount of food.
wow..that tuna could have fed a family of 4!!
Holy crap…that is some big ass shrimp…or your camera does a good job on making them bigger than what they are. Anyway, the best way I found to adjust to times zones is as soon as you step off the plane you just go right into the new time zone (with eating, sleeping, etc).
Welcome to AZ! It’s hot, but at least it gets down to about 105 after 9pm. 😉 I second the True Food Kitchen recommendation… so good! Enjoy your trip, and let me know too if there’s a meetup!
I love Mastro’s!! Their Butter Cake is probably my favorite dessert of all time. Yum!
Such a cool event! That plate of tune is unbelievable AND that dessert….Mmm! And those time-changes always screw me up too!
