The Friday 5

Hi friends!

I can’t believe it’s already Friday. Holy cow, the days flew by! I hope you had a nice week! 🙂

One quick reminder: My reverse diet workshop is this Sunday. If you’ve ever struggled with losing weight or think your metabolism has slowed down, be sure to check it out. If you can’t attend live, you’ll receive the recording and handouts via email on Monday.

Ok, here are 5 things I’m loving lately!

Enjoy your weekend!

1. Brooks Distance Tank

This is the PERFECT no-nonsense tank. It stays put, looks cute, wicks sweat… I already owned and loved a couple of them, but I recently added this updated version and love it even more! It definitely will be a go-to for hot and sweaty workouts this summer!

2. Working Moms (Netflix)

I binged watched all of the episodes in Working Moms! It’s hilarious, but most importantly, it showed moms who love their work and find value from it, in addition to being a mom. I always felt bad for enjoying my work, but watching these ladies (who are not perfect by any means) love what they do, made me feel okay about it and the series was entertaining as hell! OMG, so funny! 🙂

3. The Period Party Podcast

So much great info about hormones! If your hormones are out of whack, these podcast is definitely worth a listen. Speaking of hormones, as an FDN (I graduated 2 weeks ago!!), I can now offer the DUTCH test. Details coming soon if you’re interested! 🙂

4. Men’s Sun Shirt

Mal bought one last year (he’s had a number of skin cancer scares) and wore it all the time, so I recently bought him another one. It shields against the sun’s rays and is priced right – perfect for summer!

5. Glass Straws

Quinn gave these to me for my 40th birthday. I’m obsessed with glass straws… metal are too cold on lips and teeth, paper fall apart, plastic ends up in landfills and the ocean. I use a straw every day for my iced beverages, so these are perfect! Cute and eco-friendly!

  1. Apropos of nothing, I bought the Lululemon Take Power bra during shelter-in-place and loved it so much that I got it in a second color. I don’t have the biggest rack out there, but I am not tiny, either–and being in my early 40s, gravity IS TOTALLY A THING and I need a good amount of support. That dang bra is the most amazing thing for spin classes, hiit classes, Les Mills Body Pump, and so much more. I’m trying to lean out a little bit after a couple of stressful years in which I packed on the lbs, so I am debating if I really want a third one in the size I am in–or a third one but one cup size down (I lose weight in my boobs easily, much to my husband’s dismay…) as extra motivation.

Silly to rave and rave about a sale price bra, but it! is! just! that! good!!!
