The Easiest Chicken Fajitas You’ll Ever Make

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Hi, guys!

I made these chicken fajitas two different times last week and already once this week because they are so darn good. So. Darn. Good. And, even better, they are super simple to make– like dinner does not get easier than this. The recipe is also really versatile and can be eaten with tortillas, rice, or salad greens, so it’s never the same thing twice. We are obsessed.

The recipe was actually inspired by the Oven Baked Chicken Fajitas from Juli Bauer’s Paleo Cookbook, but I made them even easier with the help of some pre-made fajita seasoning. Then, I just added some sliced bell peppers, onions, and chicken tenders and, guys, I’m telling ya, this recipe is SO simple and SO delicious. You need to make it as soon as possible!

fajita ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds chicken breast tenders (or chicken breast cut into strips)
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), cut into strips
  • 1 medium/large onion, cut into strips
  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 heaping tablespoons fajita seasoning

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Place chicken tenders in a baking dish and cover with peppers and onions.

Combine fajita seasoning with melted butter and then pour it all over the chicken and veggies in the baking dish.

I used Fajita Magic for my seasoning, but just about any one you like will work.

Bake for 38-40 minutes until chicken is cooked all the way through. Remove from oven and toss chicken and veggies to fully coat with fajita mixture.

Serve immediately!

  1. It’s so early in the morning but this still looks so good! Nothing quite like quick, easy and delicious meals for weeknight dinners!

  2. I love chicken fajitas!! I’ve been seeing a lot of oven baked chicken fajita recipes….this one looks the simplest. Did you cover your pan with foil at any point during cooking?

  3. An even easier hack is to use the fire roasted bell pepper/onion mix that Trader Joe’s sells in the frozen section (ingredients are only peppers and onions, no unnecessary fats/preservatives). I throw the entire package in a fry pan until heated, then add cooked chicken, then the fajita mix. So simple and easy, no chopping required!

  4. These were absolutely delicious! I love fajitas and these were both easy and super tasty. I’d be interested in trying them in the crockpot too, if anyone would be willing to share their details (high/low, how long, etc)…

  5. This is a super easy recipe, only 5 ingredients. This is a recipe that would be fun to make for all ages. Serve over rice would be my preference. The seasoning also look wonderful, I found our next meal. Yuuummmmmy!

  6. I had company coming over and had a really busy day. I needed something super easy and I made this! It was an awesome dinner and tasted like it cooked all day!

  7. I made this for company tonight with tilapia instead of chicken and it was insanely delicious! Thanks for the idea☺️

  8. Thank you fort his quick and easy receipt! My honey and I love it and it is now in the oven with ground beef instead of chicken!
    Have a nice sunday!

  9. I made these yesterday and I am in love! I only had chicken breast, so I sliced it up. I can only imagine how easy this would be if I used chicken tenders! This will be a regular in my house for sure! Thanks so much for sharing!!
