Hi, friends! I hope you had a very HAPPY Thanksgiving! 🙂

Ours was low-key and relaxing. We saw family, ate delicious food, and reflected on what we’re most thankful for, so it was an especially nice day. After a workout at the YMCA and cooking at home, we drove out to my Grammie’s house for an early dinner with my family.

It was so nice catching up with everyone – my Grammie had was quite the group for Thanksgiving dinner. There was probably around 20 of us!

My Grammie took care of the turkey and a few side dishes, but our family chipped in with the rest of the meal. I made Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon from Lexi’s Clean Kitchen and Cheesy Bacon Spinach Dip from the new Delish Cookbook. Both dishes turned out SO WELL, and were big hits with everyone. I highly recommend both recipes – both were easy and very tasty! I actually might make the Cheesy Bacon Spinach Dip again for Friendsgiving this coming weekend! 🙂

Before we sat down for dinner, Grandma gave Quinn a special “prize,” which he was especially excited about. Inside was a chocolate Advent calendar! 🙂 It’s been tough not to break into it before December 1st, but we assured Quinn it was worth the wait!

Then, it was time to EAT!! After missing Thanksgiving dinner last year, Mal and I were REALLY excited for it!

Yesssss! I went back for seconds of the Brussels sprouts and my Grammie’s mashed butternut squash. Yummm!

Quinn opted for a dinner roll with cranberry sauce. (It’s the most he’s ever eaten on Thanksgiving!)

My aunt’s birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year, so we celebrated with quite the spread of pies! I ate 2 pieces of pecan pie and, my gosh, they were incredible. My Grammie makes a mean pecan pie! Holy yum!

All in all, it was a wonderful Thanksgiving with family!
