Hi, guys! Happy Monday Tuesday! Mal is on school vacation this week, so I have NO IDEA what day it is. Ha! Anyway, I’m a little behind on recapping our weekend – and we’re doing our taxes today (uggghhhh) – so, hopefully, I’ll be all up-to-date soon. That said, here’s a recap from Saturday as well as some of our favorite toys for keeping Quinn entertained at restaurants! Saturday morning started bright and early, so,…

Hi, friends! Mal is on school vacation this week, so we made plans yesterday to meet my sister, her husband, Pat, and my nephew, Matthew, for lunch at the Yard House. Babies + beer sounded like a fun afternoon to me! As always, we started with an order of truffle fries because we are all obsessed with them. (Side note for the locals: The truffle fries at Lincoln are even better if you can believe…

Hi, friends! Happy Hump Day! Quinn and I enjoyed a lovely lunch with my mom, sister, and Matthew at the Yard House yesterday afternoon. It was so nice to see them and catch up. (Matthew wasn’t sure what to make of Quinn! Haha!) To start, we shared an order of the truffle fries, which are the bomb. In fact, they’re so good, I usually just order them as my meal + a couple of beers when I go…

This past weekend was so fun! Mal and I got together with a bunch of different friends and had such a blast with them. I am so thankful that we have so many wonderful people in our lives (including you guys)! We are very lucky. SATURDAY Mal and I were all over the place on Saturday. We left his parents’ house after being there since Wednesday afternoon, stopped home briefly to drop off Murphy, and…

After breakfast, Mal and I checked out of the Hawaii Prince Hotel and drove to Ala Moana Beach Park, which is located between Waikiki and downtown Honolulu, to do some stand-up paddleboarding. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told it was too windy and unsafe to paddleboard. Bummer. It was still a gorgeous day and we were in Hawaii, so Mal and I enjoyed the beach, went swimming in the ocean, and then took a…

Hi, friends! Greetings from Long Beach, California! Ok, first things first: check out the sweetness of my hotel room! Love it! I {heart} fancy hotels. I am so psyched to be here! A huge, massive, enormous THANK YOU to GNC and REEBOK for sponsoring me! They’re covering my travel, accommodations, and ticket to the CrossFit Games. I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited about a blog trip ever. The CrossFit Games! Ahhhhhhhhh! I seriously…

Obviously, I’m proud of myself after my half marathon performance this weekend, but the race definitely lit a fire under my butt. A year ago, I ran the same half marathon 2 minutes and 30 seconds faster. Of course, I had been training and in better health, but if you look at my half marathon times over the years, I haven’t improved all that much. Rock ‘N’ Roll USA Half Marathon Washington, DC, March 17,…
