Hi, guys! I had such an amazing weekend in Albuquerque! Seriously, it was an unforgettable experience and so incredibly inspiring. I had the opportunity to attend Altitude Camp with Brooks Running and train with the Brooks Beasts. It was so cool to see what training like an elite runner is all about, including learning about their workouts, nutrition, coaching, and more. And, of course, I loved spending time and catching up with my favorite blog ambassadors, so…

Good morning, friends! I know that I usually share my What I’m Loving Lately posts on Fridays, but this one was starting to get really packed with favorite things, so I decided to publish it a little earlier this week. There’s a lot that I’m loving lately! Toddler toys – As you guys might remember, our flight to Seattle was quite an adventure. Qman was not a happy camper, despite giving him nearly a dozen new toys…

Hey, hey! We’re back from Seattle and, boy, we had a wonderful time! In fact, we had so much fun, it would have taken me forever to recap the whole thing, so I decided to just share some highlights. Here we go! Feeling like we had our act together traveling with a toddler – Remember when I blogged about traveling with an infant (here and here)? Well, we learned a few things, so, this time, we streamlined…

Hello! How was your July 4th weekend? Mine was a whole lot of fun. I spent Friday through Sunday in Eugene, Oregon for our annual Brooks Running Blog Ambassador Weekend. This year, we had the opportunity to spectate the USA Track & Field Olympic Trials, which was the coolest thing ever. Pictured above: Women’s Chariot Heritage Shoes//Women’s Go-To Running Capris – both of which I have worn NON-STOP lately!  I arrived in Portland mid-morning and joined the rest…

Hi, guys! Remember my Stocking Stuffers for Runners post from last week? Well, my friends at Brooks offered to give away two of the items featured to a lucky CNC reader. Yayyyy! How awesome is that?! And then you’ll be totally ready for winter running! These running accessories are two of my very favorites for cold weather running, and I never leave home without them. Really, they are my go-to pieces for running outside during the winter. Ok, without…

Hi, friends! Happy FRIDAY! How’s it going?? It’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these What I’m Loving Lately posts, so I figured it was time for another. Here’s what I’m loving lately! Enjoy! Serial – Ahhhhh! Season 2! I’m just as obsessed as I was during Season 1! If you haven’t listened to Serial yet (it’s a free podcast), GET ON IT!! Make your own fake snow – This is such a great idea…

Good morning, friends! Happy FRIDAY to you! How was your week? We had a nice one over here, but, wow, it flew by. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s the holiday season or what, but it definitely whizzed by. Anyway, I wanted to share some highlights from our life lately, so here we go! I went to KFIT on Monday and felt like garbage during the workout. It was my fifth day in a row of exercise,…

Good morning! I have a GREAT workout for you guys. It involves two of my favorite things– dumbbells and running— and it’s guaranteed to challenge you! Dumbbells instantly make a workout more challenging because they require so much more of your stabilizer muscles, which means you’re working even harder. And running… well, running is always tough, especially if you’re giving it your all! Outfit: Brooks Women’s Distance Long Sleeve/Brooks Women’s Streaker Capri/Brooks Women’s Glycerin 13/Bombas Ankle Socks/Oakley Overtime…

Hi, guys! First things first: Just a quick reminder about the Live Q&A with the Brooks Blog Ambassadors! You can chat with me and the other Brooks blog ambassadors about all things running. You can also ask us questions in real time- anything from what’s our pre-run snack of choice to our favorite shoe to how we got into blogging. It’ll be fun! The live Q&A is set for TOMORROW night (Wednesday, 9/30) from 8-9pm EST…

Now that life has slowed down a bit, I’ve had a chance to stop and enjoy the little things in my life. I’ve talked in the past about how the little things are sometimes the big things and how even the smallest gesture can make a huge difference in someone’s day. Being home this week has made me realize this even more, so I wanted to share some of the little things I’ve recently enjoyed!…

Hi, friends! Happy, happy, HAPPY FRIDAY to you! It’s time for another edition of What I’m Loving Lately and this one is really great. There are a bunch of things I am digggggging this week. Ok, here we go! Boxed! – Ok, I know I’ve mentioned Boxed quite a few times on CNC, but it’s really the best online wholesale service out there. It’s basically like Costco or BJs, but everything is delivered right to your…

Good morning, friends! I’ve been waiting for Friday all week! Woohoo! Now that it’s arrived, here’s another edition of What I’m Loving Lately. This week’s round-up includes quite the mix of links. This sweepstakes to win a trip to Amsterdam – Tulips. Canals. Stroopwafels….

Guys, I loved the Seattle Rock ‘N’ Roll Half Marathon so much! What a great race. I would definitely run this one again! Ok, let me give you a little rundown… The race offered 3 different distance options this year– 8k, half marathon, and marathon– so even more runners of varying abilities could participate. Love this. The race started and finished at Seattle Center, which was especially cool for an out-of-towner like me. Good morning, Space Needle! The race started at…

Good morning! Happy Monday! I had such an amazing weekend with the folks from Brooks and the other blog ambassadors. Guys, it was a blast. I feel like I have so much to tell you! Are you ready for a recap? Sit back and relax. Here’s the best of the weekend! Visiting Brooks HQ and meeting the team What a wonderful place with an awesome group of people. The new Brooks headquarters (it’s just about a…

Good morning and thank you so much for your sweet comments on yesterday’s Murphy update. We feel very loved. This morning he is eating well and acting somewhat like his old self, which is so great to see. He’s far from healed (the stint in his face looks awful), but we’re doing everything in our power to make him better. Hopefully, our little puglet makes a full recovery soon. Ok, let’s change gears. How about some HAPPY photos…
