Stuff & Things

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Warning: This post is going to be all over the place. I have this random list of stuff (and things) that I want to blog about this morning, so please bear with me. But, first things first: breakfast!

I ate oatmeal for breakfast, but this wasn’t any ol’ bowl of oats. I mixed old-fashioned oats with granola and then stirred peanut butter in, so it got all gooey and melt-y. Mmm! I also added a big scoop of peanut butter at the end.

Mal finished off the iced coffee this morning, so I ran out to Marylou’s for an Almond Joy. I’m typically too lazy to go out and buy coffee, but as soon as I got the idea in my head, I just had to go to Marylou’s for it.

Back on My Feet recently asked me to write a guest post for their blog. Check out my post about running, self-doubt, and why I joined BOMF!

Dog Tries To Play Fetch With Statue

This video cracked me up, so I just had to share it!

Question of the Day

Have you watched any funny videos online lately? If so, please share! I need a good laugh today.

  1. My favorite youtube video is, “you forgot the blueberries.” It is the one with the 9-10 year old teaching you to make a yogurt, fruit snack. I sound like a horrible human being for liking this video but it is just priceless. The funny thing is about 45-55min into the video. Kids are priceless!

  2. Have you seen the baby who looks scared and happy when his mom is sneezing/blowing her nose at him? That video always makes me smile!

I think any baby videos or puppy videos are very light-hearted and fun!

  3. #1 – I’m here from SparkPeople (JAVAQUEEN74) and I entered to win a copy of your book. I so hope I win! It looks fantastic!
#2 – I will be coming back here almost daily. I love your blog! I’m not sure why I’ve never heard of its fabulousness before!
#3 – That oatmeal sounds amazing! I think I may do that for brekkie!
#4 – That video is HILARIOUS!!! Poor dumb dog! LOL. So freaking cute, I can hardly stand it. If I were the one filming it, I would not be able to hold that camera still, and I would prolly be peeing my pants. ^_^
#5 – I’ve seen a lot of hysterical videos, but they all escape me at the moment. Sigh.

    Have a terrific Tuesday!

  4. I REALLY want to try that Mary Lou’s coffee. Everytime you have it I think to myself “that looks SO good!”

And I definitely watch funny youtube videos online but I unfortunately don’t often save the links. Next time one comes around I’ll be sure to send it your way!! 🙂

  5. That video is adorable! Reminds me so much of my dog and his hilarious — and sometimes ineffective — antics.

I think the funniest video I’ve seen recently was of my 1.5-year-old niece dancing to Sesame Street. 🙂 I loved the sheer abandon of it. 🙂
