Are you still working through your holiday shopping list? Are you stumped as to what to buy for the runner your list? Well, look no further! You might think this person has everything they need to run happy, but here are some stocking stuffers that just about any runner is guaranteed to love!

Brooks Running Drift Glove – If the runner on your list is braving the elements this winter, they need a pair of these gloves. Yes, really! They have multiple layers of warmth, including a windproof mitt cover for extra protection that can easily be tucked away if you don’t need it. They also have a tech-tipped thumb and index finger, so you can switch up your tunes or snap pictures of your snowy run without exposing your hands. And while you’re purchasing a pair as a gift, you might as well get some for yourself! They really are the best gloves!

Brooks (Reversible) Running Unisex Greenlight Headband – I love this headband because it’s both an ear warmer and headband to keep the hair off my face– and you guys know how I feel about headbands! Obsessed. This one is comfy, cute, and stays put, which is the winning combination in my book. It’s also moisture-wicking and reversible from a smooth side to a brushed side that adds extra warmth. It’s awesome.

iTunes Gift Card – Not every runner runs with music, but the ones that do will definitely appreciate an iTunes gift card to update their playlists. Personally, I’d be psyched to receive one, especially since I’m still listening to my Boston Marathon playlist from April!

Running Ornament – A great way to commemorate a running achievement, such as a half or full marathon, is with a running ornament, many of which can be personalized and engraved for an even more personalized touch!

Hand (or Toe) Warmers – Now that the cold temps have arrived, hand and toe warmers will be a huge hit in your runner’s stocking!

BombasBombas are THE BEST socks ever! (My recent review.) And runners need high-quality socks to ensure happy feet on their runs, so definitely snap some up for their stockings! Bonus: Bombas come in all sorts of fun colors, guaranteed to put a smile on just about any runner’s face!

Packets of GU (or another favorite energy source) – Long distance runners go through GU/other energy sources like crazy, so they can never have enough. Plus, these little packets are an especially affordable stocking stuffer!

Nuun – Another fuel favorite! Nuun comes in a variety of flavors– all of which are delicious– so you can’t go wrong with adding a few of these colorful tubes to your runner’s stocking.

Nathan Power Shower Refreshing Body Wipes – The perfect stocking stuffer for the lunchtime runner or someone short on time! These body wipes make getting back to work/life quick and easy!

Dual Action Honey Lemon Drops – It’s cold season and no runner wants to miss a workout due to a stuffy nose or cough, so Ricola’s Dual Action Honey Lemon Drops are a great addition to their Christmas stocking. They’re naturally effective with a blend of 10 natural Swiss alpine herbs, natural menthol, and soothing honey lemon syrup center, so they relief for coughs and sore throats, all in one drop.

Question of the Day

Runners: What do you want in your stocking this year?

  1. Good compilation!! I have gloves like the ones you posted above and they’re awesome. Also totally agree on the iTunes gift card. You can never have too much music – especially on runs!

  2. The stocking is my favorite part of Christmas. I’m weird and like getting toiletries – saline solution, deodorant, etc. weird, but it’s nice to get these items that you have to buy anyway. 🙂

  3. iTunes!? You have GOT to get on the Spotify train. All the music you could ever want – including pre-set running playlists (arranged by BPM) and available offline syncing. It’s the best!

  4. Great gift ideas. My husband is just getting into distance running so I will definitely stuff his stockings with some of these. I already got him a medal holder for his other Spartan and races he has already completed. I love being able to give gifts that are meaningful and useful!
