Thank you to Ricola® Herb & Throat drops for sponsoring this post!
Quinn and I had some fun at Target last week shopping for “stay well” Valentine’s Day care packages for Grandma, Papi, and his aunts and uncles. With winter and cold season in full swing, we thought they’d be a fun way to send our loved ones the gift of wellness.
When we arrived at Target, Quinn got right to work, selecting festive Valentine’s Day decorations to include in the care packages.
But, by the time we wandered around the store and loaded up our shopping cart, he needed a snack. Ha!
But, seriously, I felt like we bought one of everything for our “little” project!
We got all sorts of “stay well” products, including Ricola Extra Strength Glacial Mint, gummy vitamins, ChapStick, Emergen-C, tissues, hand-sanitizer as well as some tasty treats to show our family members how much we care.
Ricola Extra Strength Drops combine a unique blend of ten natural Swiss alpine herbs, natural menthol, and soothing syrup center to give you relief. And, boy, are they minty. They instantly wake up your senses!
We also found these adorable Valentine’s Day buckets.
And a bunch of heart-shaped, glittery decorations, stickers, note cards, and boxes of chocolates that I picked because they have Quinn’s initials on them (QT). I mean, he’s a QT PIE for sure! 🙂
Putting together the care packages was quite the project. For every few items that I placed into the boxes, Quinn would take at least one out!
And sometimes he’d try to feed them to Murphy. Haha!
Then, we added some fun Valentine’s Day hearts to each box.
Quinn thought they should ALL go into Grandma’s care package.
We also included a special bird gift in each of the care packages because they’re Quinn’s favorite.
Caw-caw!
Ta-da!
The finishing touch was decorating each box with Valentine’s Day stickers. Quinn also really liked helping with this task!
I hope these care packages put a smile on our loved ones’ faces and keep them well all winter long.
Our “stay well” Valentine’s Day care packages were so much fun to put together, and it ended up being a really nice project to do with a toddler. Quinn definitely enjoyed it!
P.S. Ricola is hosting a “Call in Well” Sweepstakes to help promote their Extra Strength drops. The Call in Well initiative is all about feeling well, instead of calling in sick to work. Enter to win a trip to Switzerland or $500!

What a FUN idea! A great, albiet practical alternative to the typical Valentine greeting 😀
I LOVE this idea!
Such a fun, sweet and simple idea! I bet this activity with a toddler took much longer than normal, haha!
Those buckets are so darn cute and I have to admit it is really funny that Quinn wants to feed Murphy everything!
Those are the cutest care packages made by the cutest helper!!
Ohhhh my goodness, the pug face. Those Ricola must smell like extra-strength, too!
Such a great gift idea!! I love sending cards for all different holidays, but a cute care package is extra sweet!
I love this idea! Also? The $1 spot at Target is dangerous!
Agreed!!
What a fun idea! Gotta love Target’s $1 section for any holiday!
So cute!
Unrelated, I just saw this video of a mom trying to get infant triplets and a toddler ready for bed. You MUST watch it’s so funny! (And made me so tired …)
