My husband is a speed demon.
This evening, he ran 4 miles in 29:11. Um, yea. I hate him. 😉 Here’s his recap:
4 miles (29:11)
- Mile 1: 7:33
- Mile 2: 7:02
- Mile 3: 7:05
- Mile 4: 7:30
Lesson learned today: don’t run on an empty stomach. I could feel my stomach grumbling and felt like I had nothing in reserves. I could really feel it on the last mile of the run. Overall, I’m still happy with my time. Worked on my pacing on miles 2 and 3. I was definitely more consistent today.
After running, Mal stretched.
And then he tried to help.
Today, I was a lazy blogger and didn’t snap photos of my lunch, but I took pics of dinner! 😉
I ate leftover Macaroni and Cheese with Cauliflower on top of a romaine salad with tomatoes, cucumber slices, broccoli, and crumbled feta.
For dessert, I enjoyed a coffee bean dark chocolate bar. It was really delicious! 😀
I worked non-stop ALL day long, so I am vegging out for the rest of the night.
