I love leisurely Sunday mornings. Aren’t they just the best?
Mal and I have spent much of the morning lounging around our hotel room and enjoying our last few minutes of our Mohegan vacation.
I started my morning by brewing a pot of coffee in our room. The complimentary Mohegan Grounds were surprisingly tasty for hotel coffee.

While sipping my coffee, I caught up on some blogging. I love this “job”!
Once I published my blog post, I hit the hotel gym. It had a nice variety of equipment and wasn’t crowded.
I ended up running/walking for 4 miles on the treadmill. My hip held up nicely!
Mal and I just packed our things to head home. I grabbed the bath goodies to enjoy later. Do you take the complimentary products when you stay at hotels?
I’m famished! Time for breakfast!

Gotta love lazy Sundays. Enjoy your day!!!
nice lookin workout room!!
I adore relaxing on Sundays..it’s really my only day off 😛
Hope you enjoyed your weekend!
p.s I always take the bath goodies lol
Yes! Totally take goodies home…even envelopes that room key cards come in! They are great souvenirs of getaways with loved ones. When I went to the Matrix hotel in Edmonton, they also had Archives goodies. I really like the scent of their soap!
I always take stuff from hotels… random stuff, shampoos, conditioners, etc…
I *love* lazy Sunday mornings, and I *love* hotel rooms, so your morning sounds just about perfect to me! 🙂 A good idea regarding the complimentary products (especially if you travel a lot) is to collect them, since they’re part of your room, and donate them to a homeless shelter. Enjoy your last day!

Looks like a great time! I ALWAYS take all the goodies at hotels, heck sometimes I even take the extra Kleenex box and put it in my car for emergencies =) Hey it’s all free right?!
What a nice hotel gym!! I only take the freebies if it’s something REALLY good
I normally take the goodies– sometimes it’s some great stuff and it’s always good to have extras for travel!
That hotel gym is AWESOME! Most hotels I stay at have a dinky little broken down treadmill and a recumbent bike.
I’ll sometimes take the complimentary products if they’re nice and I think I’ll actually use them. Have a great Sunday!
oh no no cake tasting!!!! major bummer!!!!!!!!
Have to say, for hotel they have a nice open gym! Most I’ve been to are kind of cramped with only a few machines stuck in the corner!
I never really stay in hotels much but I definitely would take the products. I love freebies!
And lazy mornings!
And that is quite the nice hotel gym too!
That’s a nice hotel gym! Good job on waking up early and using it!
I never usually take the products when I stay at hotels unless they’re some cool, organic ones or something. I have too many little samples at home from years of my mom collecting them!
Yes! I always take the shampoos and body wash because they are the perfect size for packing in your gym bag 🙂
I used to take EVERYTHING from hotels (that you’re allowed to take, obv) but then I had so many stupid little things of soap that now I only take them if they are really cool or handy…we went to Palm Springs and our mini kitchen came with a little thing of dish soap we didn’t use…perfect for camping.
Oh and umm..when I was in college I worked for a hotel. I used to take printer paper and toilet paper from time to time. Does that count? Or does it just make me sound unethical 🙂 (oh, the things we did when we were broke college students…)
I love the little bottles of shampoo and condition, I only take them if they are really high quality. My favorites are all of the Bliss Spa toiletries at W hotels and the Bath and Body Works goodies and some of the smaller chains. They work great for the gym bag.
yup, i take complementary toiletries in our room when we stay at a hotel, they’re good for trips to the pool!
i totally take everything they put out at hotels! i figure, its in the price of the room, right?

Oh yeah I definitely take the bath goodies, especially if they smell great!
