There’s a difference between needing and wanting a cookie. Today was one of those days when I needed one. Ok, I pretty much feel like this every Friday, but a bag of Reeses Pieces at CVS ignited my cookie craving, and I just couldn’t get the possibilities out of my mind. I mean, the thought of Reeses Pieces Peanut Butter Cookies popped into my head before I even purchased the candy. I needed to make them happen!
Makes 1 dozen
Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/3 cup liquid egg whites
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 bag of Reeses Pieces
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350*F.
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well until batter is blended evenly.
- Portion cookies on a greased baking sheet, approximately 1-2 inches apart.
- Bake cookies for approximately 15 minutes.
- Remove cookies from baking sheet and allow to cool on wire rack.
- Eat and enjoy!

Reeses pieces are my favorite movie theater treat, other than popcorn of course. These may be my new fav cookie! I have a feeling that if I made those they would be gone in one day, easily.

Oh, be still, my heart.
I need these in my life. I LOVE Reeses Pieces. Love.Them.
Yummy! Those must have been jammed full of Reese’s pieces since there were only 12 and you used the whole bag…but I’m guessing that perhaps a few were consumed in the process? 😉
I love Reeses Pieces! These sound great!
Those look AMAZING! I may use the idea 🙂
I am a special education teacher at a school for children with autism who have severe behavioral issues. This week I’ve gotten punched in the face, spit on, bit, hair pulled, pinched, scratched, and more. If you have ever heard of someone who needs a cookie today, it is me. I NEED one of these cookies!!!!!!!!!
They are healthy because you used whole wheat flour right? 🙂
You have me hooked on your last cookie recipe and now I assume that I’ll NEED to make these! I love reeses! How can you go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate?
Thank you. Reese pieces are the best (are not all things Reeses?) These sound super healthy, too!

Oh boy, these look dangerous. Love PB and Chocolate! Yummy!
Love that recipe, yum.

YAY for REESE’S PIECES! 😀
I made dark chocolate PB cups today — I guess it was a PB/chocolate Friday 🙂
It’s really hard to find Reese’s Pieces here in Australia, but maybe I could try this with the mini sugar coated easter eggs I just bought!
I think I might be Reese’s biggest fan. No exaggeration.
Try the new minis. They’re a perfect mix of pb and chocolate for being so small!
Genious idea! I love Reese’s peices but cant find them here in Israel which makes me very sad because those cookies look so good!
I love that you made these with reduced sugar and whole wheat flour. Still indulgent but slightly healthier too. Can’t beat that. 😉
I’ll be making these. I *love* reeses! 😀
I’m not normally a cookie monster but these look delicious! I will definately be trying these. I attempted to make the peanut buttery bars but they didn’t seem to turn out. Are they typically sweet or not really? I used PB2 instead of peanut butter. Maybe I should have went for the real deal. Great site! I look forward to reading your blog every day!
YUM!
Reeses? Cookies? Mmm I have to make this asap!
holy shizness! these look amazing!
mmm I LOVE reeses pieces! I haven’t had them in SO long.. I guess its time I add them to cookies!
I do not eat candy but seriously hunt whenever it goes on sale after holidays (Easter, Halloween etc) because I love to incorporate it into baking!
Mmmmm….Reeses Pieces are the best!! Actually anything with peanut butter and chocolate is the best!
Reese’s Pieces rule so hard. My favorite candy!
O.M.G. Those look sooo good!
