Vibe Israel Fitness Tour + Photos from Quinn’s Camera 5

Hi, guys!

I’m off to Israel on Thursday (and still need to catch up on work, pack, and get everything together – gahhhh), so I’m just popping in real quick to tell you a little about the trip. I also wanted to share some fun photos from Quinn’s camera because he’s the cutest, and I’m going to miss him so darn much. Plus, I just love that he loves taking photos, and it makes me so happy. But, first, let me tell you about Israel. (Holy cow, I’m going to ISRAEL!)

Awhile back a travel company called Vibe Israel contacted me to apply for their upcoming fitness tour. I figured I had nothing to lose, so I applied. A few weeks later, I was contacted again about setting up a Skype interview with one of the tour managers. Whoa. I was shocked to make it passed the initial part of the application process, but, once again, I figured I had nothing to lose. Well, I guess the interview went well because I was selected (!!), along with 4 other influencers from all over the world, to attend the Vibe Fitness 2017 Tour. Amazing, right? It’s truly a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I’m so incredibly honored to participate. We’re staying in Tel Aviv, visiting Jerusalem, meeting Israeli influencers and startup owners, and running the Tel Aviv Night Run, among other fitness adventures, so I’ll share my experiences live on Instagram Stories, and I hope you’ll follow along. I’m back on November 2nd, so I’ll have lots of awesome blog posts to come!

And… here’s the next edition of Photos from Quinn’s Camera!

P.S. Local readers: The Derby Street Shoppes are hosting a Halloween Boo-Bash with all sorts of fun kid activities on Monday, October 30th. Check out the event website for full details!

  1. Can’t wait to follow along on your journey! Wishing you safe travels and big adventures!!

Q has a great eye. Love to see his perspective <3 🙂

  2. Have fun in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem! Tel Aviv is super cool (if you’ve never been) and Jerusalem, while quite a bit more conservative, is very interesting (plan for some coverups if you’re going into churches/mosques/synagogues). If you get a chance, see if you can’t seek out some Ethiopian food. Quite a few Ethiopian Jews moved to Israel in the last few decades and there’s some excellent Ethiopian food available.
Other than that, I hope you have fun and get to try lots of new things. I’ve been to Israel several times throughout my life (as well as Jordan, Palestine, and Syria) and I always have a great time in that part of the world.

  3. Have a wonderful and safe trip ! Sounds like a once in a life time opportunity and the run at night will be a blast.
I’m also so amazed how your home always looks so put together with having such a busy schedule plus a toddler. Thank you for your wonderful blog 🙂

  4. I am so jealous!! Ive been to Israel a couple of times- im married to an Israeli
I hope you love it as much as I do! Best food ever!! Please post some food pics too

  5. OK – I always notice the weirdest things about your (and Quinn’s pictures), but we introduced Sing to our kiddo this weekend, and it’s my new favorite! I love it when she belts out “real songs” instead of Frozen or Moana…again…

Have a great trip – safe travels!

  6. Ahhh I’m so excited for your trip to my family homeland! Safe travels! I can’t wait for your pictures and update 🙂

  7. I want lots of Israel recaps!!! We were actually going to go in a few weeks to visit a friend that recently moved there, but postponed the trip to probably Feb b/c just too much going on right now. I’ve heard from so many people that Tel Aviv (and Isreal in general) is amazing, but no specifics on what we should do while we are there. You always post such great stops when you travel. Can’t wait to see how your trip goes!!
