This is my favorite sandwich yet! Holy awesomeness!

Makes 2 sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • 4 dried apricots, chopped
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (chunky or smooth)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 slices raisin-walnut bread

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Spread mixture over two slices of the bread and cover with the remaining slices.

Toast in toaster oven until peanut butter is gooey and melted.

  1. That look FABULOUS! I’ve been craving cinnamon raisin bread for a week. Finally tomorrow I’ll be getting a loaf. Where’d you find raisin walnut bread?!

  2. I believe you must’ve created this just for me, lol! Apricots make the best jam, walnuts are my favorite nut, and I love raisin bread!

  3. I recognize your wine!! I went wine tasting in the Willamette Valley a few years ago and really liked Walnut City. Their pinot noir is really good too! (Actually for me, Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley is shorthand for “Shelly, you will like this wine” though all the whites we tried from that region were wonderful as well.)

  4. That sandwich looks beyond delish! It reminds me of a sandwich I used to make my husband and I for dessert. I would break up those small ghiradelli squares of chocolate and put them on the bread, spread on some peanut butter and grill them! So delicious!! (you should try it!)
