Hi, friends!

Now that I am back into the swing of things with working out, I am all about healthy eating and selecting quality foods to fuel my workouts– both before and after. I hate exercising on an empty stomach (I feel like I have zero energy), so I always make sure to eat a small snack about an hour or two before. Usually, it’s something with a good mix of carbs, protein, and a little bit of fat to give me energy and keep me satisfied. Post-workout, I like to refuel the same way, but I put an emphasis on protein and make sure I consume my snack within 20-30 minutes of finishing my workout. That said, let me tell you about a new snack that I have been chowing before workouts and throwing in my gym bag for after workouts. It’s a delicious one!

I was recently contacted by the folks at Larabar to sample their new grain-free, gluten-free granola, which is a blend of non-GMO fruits, nuts, and seeds, called Renola. (Renola means “Reinventing Granola,” and it’s packed full of nutrition without the filler.)

I loved Larabar’s new granola so much, I partnered with them to bring you guys this post and an awesome giveaway to win some Renola to try yourself. (I have a good feeling you will LOVE it!)

Renola comes in 3 flavors (Cocoa Coconut, Berry, and Cinnamon Nut) and you can find it in the cereal aisle at your local Target and other retailers.

Ok, let me tell you about some of the snacks I’ve enjoyed using Renola. They’re all super easy to make and travel-friendly, so you can just pack them up in Tupperware and go. Easy as that! These snacks are perfect for when you need a quick bite to eat, like right before or after a workout, but they’re also delicious at any time of the day!

Granola Banana Mash

Looking for a quick and super satisfying snack? Try this Granola Banana Mash! Just slice up a banana, add your favorite flavor of Renola, drizzle with honey, and mash up with a folk. You’ll have a mushy mess of deliciousness in no time!

Healthy Blueberry Crisp for One

This Healthy Blueberry Crisp is one of my favorite healthy treats. It’s wonderful as a dessert and perfect for giving you quick energy right before a workout!

Here is how to make it: In a microwave-safe dish, add a scoop of almond butter to 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries and then nuke it in the microwave for 45 seconds. Mix it all together and then top with Renola. It tastes just like blueberry crisp, but healthier and without all of the added sugar.

Fruit, Greens + Granola

This 3-ingredient salad can be thrown together in a matter of minutes. Grab a handful or two of your favorite fresh greens (baby spinach, arugula, spring mix), add your favorite kind of fruit (peach, apple, strawberries), and top with a hearty serving of Renola. Fruit, veggies, nuts, and seeds”¦ this snack has it all!

  1. I love granola right out of the bag 🙂 I’ve always enjoyed Larabar products and am sure these are just as great!

  2. Hmmm I have to say granola and yogurt is my go to! I actually work at target so I’m constantly watching the new granola roll in and renola is one that I’m dying to try, especially the cocoa coconut!

  3. I love granola with Greek yogurt and fruit! I love larabars so I’m sure I’ll enjoy their granola!

  4. No wonder I couldn’t find this at Target….I was looking in the wrong aisle 😕 I LOVE granola and eat it many different ways. The most recent obsession is to take a whole wheat tortilla, spread a layer of nut better, sprinkle granola, then top with some type of fruit. YUMMY!!

I would like to try Renola because I’m a big fan of Larabar’s products and their commitment to using whole food ingredients. As an educator, I sometimes don’t make the best choices when it comes to snacks during my short break during the day. I believe Renola would keep me on the right track and the combinations are endless!

  5. Yummy yummy!! I’m always looking for a delicious new granola. Sometimes I make salads for breakfast – and get weird looks from my coworkers – but topping the salad with berries, granola and a hard boiled egg turns it into a breakfast if you ask me! I’d definitely use Renola for all kinds of snacks too

  6. I love granola with some milk and fruit, sprinkled in yogurt, or out of the bag!! also love larabar products !!

  7. Love it with greek yogurt and berries, YUM!! (or just right out of the bag when I am looking for a quick, snack to hold me over!)

  8. Always love myself some granola on my Chobani yogurt to start the day! Im always up for trying new bars and snacks to get me through the day!

  9. I like my granola plain when I want something crunchy and sweet. I’d like to try these because I love everything else Larabar, so why not.

  10. I love to add a little bit of granola on top of my regular cereal for an extra kick of flavor! Sooo yummy, and makes for so many more cereal options!

  11. I end up eating granola most frequently with some dried fruit as a quick meal on my way to work. My favorite is with fresh fruit and some lactose free yogurt or kefir.

  12. I love granola on greek yogurt. I would like to try Renola because Lara Bars are delicious so Renola must be

  13. I like granola with yogurt and fresh fruit! My whole family loves Lara Bars so I am sure we would love this granola!

  14. I like granola on top of smoothies or just plain with almond milk! My husband and I recently went gluten free because of digestive issues that he has been having and I would love to try this out because we love cereals/granola but it has been hard finding healthy gluten free kinds.

  15. I can’t wait to try your Healthy Blueberry Crisp for One idea! That sounds soooooo yummy! I’d love to try Renola & I can’t actually find it in my hometown!

  16. You know, I actually avoid granola for the most part because it tends to be high in sugar and not very nutritious. Seems like the renola takes care of this!!!!

  17. I love granola on vanilla greek yogurt with berries. Yummo!
We don’t have Renola where I live and I would love to give it a try!

  18. I love to layer granola with greek yogurt and whatever fresh fruit is in season! So many yummy textures!

  19. I like to make my own gluten free granola at home, then have it as my mid-morning snacks at work!

  20. I love it on salads or ice cream! I make my own granola sometimes, but it would be nice to have a good one to go-to

  21. I eat granola with yogurt and berries almost every morning – although, I have been known to eat it by the handful! 😉

  22. I love to eat granola on top of greek yogurt and I’d love to try Renola because it looks super tasty!

  23. I love granola with almond milk too and would love to try Renola since I generally follow a paleo way of eating and this would be a great paleo breakfast and treat!
