Hi, friends!
Now that I am back into the swing of things with working out, I am all about healthy eating and selecting quality foods to fuel my workouts– both before and after. I hate exercisingĀ on an empty stomach (I feel like I have zeroĀ energy), so I always make sure to eat aĀ small snackĀ about an hour or two before. Usually,Ā it’sĀ something with a goodĀ mix of carbs, protein, and a little bit of fatĀ to give me energy and keep me satisfied. Post-workout, I like to refuel the same way, but I put an emphasis on protein and make sure I consume myĀ snack within 20-30 minutes of finishing my workout. That said, let me tell you about a new snack that I have been chowing before workouts and throwing in my gym bagĀ for after workouts. It’s a delicious one!
I was recently contacted by the folks at Larabar to sample their new grain-free, gluten-free granola, which is a blend of non-GMO fruits, nuts, and seeds, called Renola. (Renola means āReinventing Granola,āĀ and it’s packed full of nutrition without the filler.)
I loved Larabar’s new granola so much, I partnered with them to bring you guys this post and an awesome giveaway to win some Renola to try yourself. (I have a good feeling you will LOVE it!)
Renola comes in 3 flavorsĀ (Cocoa Coconut, Berry, and Cinnamon Nut) and you can find it in the cereal aisle at your local Target and other retailers.
Ok, let me tell you about some of the snacks I’ve enjoyed using Renola. They’re all super easy to make and travel-friendly, so you can just pack them up in Tupperware and go. Easy as that! These snacks are perfect for when you need a quick bite to eat, like right before or after a workout, but they’re also delicious at any time of the day!
Granola Banana Mash
Looking for a quick and super satisfying snack? Try this Granola Banana Mash! Just slice up a banana, add your favorite flavor of Renola, drizzle with honey, and mash up with a folk. You’ll have a mushy mess of deliciousness in no time!
Healthy Blueberry Crisp for One
This Healthy Blueberry Crisp is one of my favorite healthy treats. It’s wonderfulĀ as a dessert and perfect for giving you quick energy right before a workout!
Here is how to make it: In a microwave-safe dish, add a scoop of almond butter to 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries and then nuke it in the microwave for 45 seconds. Mix it all together and then top with Renola. It tastes just like blueberry crisp, but healthier and without all of the added sugar.
Fruit, Greens + Granola
This 3-ingredient salad can be thrown together in a matter of minutes. Grab a handful or two of your favorite fresh greens (baby spinach, arugula, spring mix), add your favorite kind of fruit (peach, apple, strawberries), and top with a hearty serving of Renola. Fruit, veggies, nuts, and seeds⦠this snack has it all!
Granola + Almond Milk
Everyone loves granola and milk, right? Now there’s a grain-free, gluten-free, and Paleo-friendly option!
Giveaway time! Here is your chance to win a 9-ounce bag of each of the Renola flavors (3 bags total per winner).
To enter: Just leave a comment on this post about your favorite way to eat granola and why you’d like to try Renola. I’ll randomly pick THREE winners on FridayĀ morning.
Good luck!

Hi!
I would put it on my Siggs yogurt*
Sounds like it would be a tasty and crunchy treat!
I love granola right out of the bag š I’ve always enjoyed Larabar products and am sure these are just as great!
Hmmm I have to say granola and yogurt is my go to! I actually work at target so I’m constantly watching the new granola roll in and renola is one that I’m dying to try, especially the cocoa coconut!
I would eat granola with yogurt, fruit, or just by itself!
I love granola with Greek yogurt and fruit! I love larabars so I’m sure I’ll enjoy their granola!
No wonder I couldn’t find this at Target….I was looking in the wrong aisle ðŸĖ⢠I LOVE granola and eat it many different ways. The most recent obsession is to take a whole wheat tortilla, spread a layer of nut better, sprinkle granola, then top with some type of fruit. YUMMY!!
I would like to try Renola because I’m a big fan of Larabar’s products and their commitment to using whole food ingredients. As an educator, I sometimes don’t make the best choices when it comes to snacks during my short break during the day. I believe Renola would keep me on the right track and the combinations are endless!
Granola with yogurt is definitely my favorite!
Yummy yummy!! I’m always looking for a delicious new granola. Sometimes I make salads for breakfast – and get weird looks from my coworkers – but topping the salad with berries, granola and a hard boiled egg turns it into a breakfast if you ask me! I’d definitely use Renola for all kinds of snacks too
