I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.


An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Peanut butter was on my mind when I woke up this morning, so I satisfied my craving with a piece of whole wheat toast with Teddie peanut butter spread on top.

Omg, I just realized that when I said you remind me of me before kids, I meant more of the working out part not the restrictive eating part…..just wanted to clarify.:) I use to have more time working out before kids. Now I just have to make each workout count even if I can only workout 3 times in a week.

  2. I really like the header! Much more professional in my opinion. I did like the second layout you had a lot, but I’m sure this will grow on me, as they always do. Good luck w/ all the changes.

  3. Oh seeing your old designs reminds me that we all have to start somewhere with our blogs. I started blogging back in March and have had so much trouble trying to get the design where I want it to be, but it takes lots of patience and “voice finding” to get some direction on where to take the blog. 🙂

    I really love this layout a lot!

  4. I like the design pretty well – much cleaner looking.

    I do have to say that I don’t like the fact that the “previous post” & “next post” links are gone, at the end of a page. I choose not to use Google Reader, because I would rather give people the page hits & often won’t read a blog for a few days, making for lots of irritating clicking around.
