I’m always on the hunt for new iced coffee places, so when the sign for Bonjour Cafe at Charles David Salon & Spa on Webster Street in Hanover caught my attention, I knew I wanted to stop in sooner than later. The location is basically “on the way” to just about everything, so it was just a matter of time before I stopped in.

Last Friday, Quinn and I were on our way to swim lessons. It was a beautiful sunny day, so the weather definitely inspired my decision to get a second (ok, third) iced coffee for the day, and we finally visited Bonjour Cafe.

I had no idea what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The cafe was quite adorable. It’s pretty small and doesn’t have any seating, but it’s located on the first floor and connected to Charles David Salon & Spa.

The menu at Bonjour Cafe had the usual coffee and espresso options, including iced coffee and cold brew, as well as breakfast, pastries, sandwiches, salads, soups, dinners, and more. I was surprised it had a menu with so many healthy options!

The woman behind the counter was super friendly and even offered Quinn a free cookie that had gotten broken, but she didn’t want to go to waste. It was white chocolate macadamia, and it was realllllly tasty!

I ordered an iced coffee, and it was flavorful (not watery), delicious, and didn’t cost a fortune. We’ll definitely visit again. I actually want to take Mal the next time we visit, so he can taste test the iced coffee as well as the breakfast sandwiches. Two different people ordered them while Quinn and I were there, so they definitely might have potential!

After our visit to Bonjour Cafe, we headed to Goldfish for Quinn’s weekly lesson. He was quite silly in the pool today, but still managed to focus on his back float and did probably the best rollover to back float I’ve seen him do yet! 🙂

After swim lessons, Quinn and I visited the library and then headed home to take Murphy for a walk. Mal ended up skipping the gym, so he was home early… and hungry! We ended up going to The Range for dinner.

Back at home, I mixed up a DELICIOUS lavender buttercream latte. Holy yum!

And finished the night by reading a few chapters of Radical Metabolism, which has an interesting take on omega-6 fats and how the gallbladder is involved in weight loss. I’m only about a 1/3 way through, but it’s a super interesting book!
