I saw O.A.R. in concert tonight!!!
It wasn’t the best show that I’ve ever attended, but I still had a blast!
Dinner
Mal and I ate dinner at Dave and Marie’s house tonight. I started with a glass of sangria.
Then, I moved onto a zillion peanut M&M’s.
And, then I ate a cheeseburger from the grill.
After dinner, Mal, Marie, Dave, and I hopped on the T to go to the O.A.R. concert.
First stop: big beers! š
We had fun with them! š
Citizen Cope opened for O.A.R. They were much better than I expected. I might be a fan!
We had a blast this evening and took lots of funny photos! š
Tonight’s O.A.R. show was just okay in my book. The band’s enthusiasm seemed a bit forced until the encore, which picked up a little bit when O.A.R played a few crowd favorites. The show wasn’t awesome, but even still, I had a great time with my hubby and our friends.
Soooooo tired! GOOD NIGHT!

I LOVE O.A.R.! Sucks that it wasn’t that great of a show, but it looked like you guys had a blast!! I was supposed to see them this summer, but didn’t get to. š
I also love your tips for morning workouts. That’s something that I seriously struggle with, so I’m going to have to test ’em out. š The snooze button is just so appealing…
Citizen Cope is one of my all time favs!!!! HIGHLY recommend any of his cd’s! š
oh fun night.
love both of those bands! I’m disappointed it wasn’t a great show … I always figured OAR would be one of the best ones live.
and I have to say, my favorite picture is where Dave is picking his nose(?) an the guy in the background is doing the same. I got a kick out of it. š glad you guys had fun!

i LOVE concerts at the Pavillion! I also love that guy photobombing your picture picking his nose…
LOVE Citizen Cope. I was considering getting OAR tickets just to see them but decided that would be silly. Great yoga music!
I love Citizen Cope! You should definitely be a fan… Check out the song “Sideways”
I LOVE Citizen Cope!
@amanda: LOL! My sister is actually in Chicago this week. Marie is my friend.
I love running to O.A.R. songs! Looks like a fun night even if the concert itself wasn’t the best ever.
Looks like a fun night!! You’re right….those beers are HUGE!! š
Looks like a blast!
So glad to see you drinking some fine Corona Light at the concert! I actually work for Corona and those 24oz cans of the light are pretty new to the market… I love them though because there’s under 200 calories in one of those big, bad boys!
Gotta give props to my hometown band, OAR! They were so popular when I was in high school and they still get huge crowds here — gotta support the local boys. š
Mal’s faces are hilarious!! LOL I love Marie’s shirt. Marie if you are reading, tell us where you got it pretty please š
I love that you and Mal have so much fun together. I think you’re my perfect couple š
Aww, OAR reminds me of college – the guys down the hall were a wee bit fixated (groupies!) and played them constantly!
Great expressions in the pictures – it looks like y’all had fun regardless of the quality of the show!
Love love love citizen cope, and I didn’t think anyone in the world even listened to OAR anymore. Mad props to you on the concert choice!
Even if the band isn’t THAT good, concerts are always fun. And its always a good time with a good group of friends!
OAR came to my campus two years ago. I didn’t get to go to the concert but didn’t really hear any “oh my gosh it was so awesome!!” either lol. Who knows, coulda been good. š
Oh gosh, memories.
City On Down is my High School graduation song!
Awww that looks like a fun time! Love the cute pictures.
I’m going to see OAR this summer too!

citizen cope opened for OAR?? maybe i’m a little out of the loop, but i feel like that should be reveresed! i love citizen cope.
Love the pics! Looks like you had a good night:)
Just saw O.A.R. in Cleveland last week…LOVE them and it was an awesome show…sorry yours wasn’t! š Doesn’t seem like them…every show I have ever been to has been excellent.
I’ve actually met them once before they had a concert at my university! I didn’t end up going but heard that it wasn’t too impressive.
Corona in a can! Wow! What a fun night….even if the show wasn’t the best.
I love OAR and I love the BOA pavilion- it’s such an awesome place for summer concerts. Glad you guys had such a good time!
I’ve seen OAR countless times at the BOA Pavilion! They’ve been playing there for years. I skipped out on this round because I haven’t listened to their music in awhile!! I love Citizen Cope, and saw him the last time he played in Boston at the Orpheum. He is amazinggg and def one of my all time favorites. I’m headed to see Vampire Weekend in September at the Pavilion. Do you listen to them?!?
Those were great photos Tina! Thanks for sharing š
please tell me OAR played crazy game of poker… that would’ve made my evening!!! š you and Mal are freakin cute… you are the ultimate lesson in waiting for the right person and not settling!!!
Seriously… you and Mal are so cute! cant wait to see what your kids are going to be like!! xx
