Isn’t Sunday supposed to be a day of rest? Well, today is definitely not a day of rest for me! I have a To Do list a mile long!!! But, some of the tasks are pretty fun– like going to Sephora. 😉
Mal, Murph, and I slept in until almost 9 AM this morning, which was a-mazing! I feel great this morning! I’m used to eating breakfast around 6:30/7:00, so by the time we got out of bed, I was famished! So, I immediately put on a pot of banana oats for Mal and me to share.
In the mix:
- 1 cup oats
- 1 cup non-fat milk
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed meal
- 1/2 tbsp agave nectar
Like always, I added two scoops of peanut butter to my oats. This morning, I tried Teddie’s new smooth with flaxseed variety. Mmm! I liked this one a lot! It had a nice peanut flavor with a slightly gritty texture. The flax added some omega-3’s, but it didn’t seem to affect the flavor.
I also enjoyed an iced latte with vanilla soy milk with breakfast.
