I wanted to tell you guys about the new gear collection. It’s called Mountain Athletics from The North Face, and I recently had the opportunity to pick out a few pieces to try myself. I loved all of the items that I selected, and I think you guys really will too, so let me tell you about them!
The first item is the Women’s Fave Full Zip Hoodie, which comes in ten different colors. That’s right, TEN! I love a good full zip hoodie and wear them all the time, so I immediately fell in love with this one. The color is what initially drew me to it, but the soft, stretchy fleece material ultimately sold me. The material just felt so good–definitely high-quality, like it would hold up and wear well for a really long time.
I received this hoodie about three weeks ago, I’ve worn in non-stop ever since– before the gym, after the gym, running errands, taking the boys to the park, and just lounging around the house. Clearly, it’s super versatile.
Other great hoodie features: Double-layered hood, deep pockets with a hidden interior pocket for your keys, ID, or iPod, and thumb-holes on the bottom of the sleeves to keep your hands warm.
The second item that I selected was the Women’s Fave Capri, which are insanely comfy. Again, I’ve worn them non-stop since receiving them.
These capris are made from cotton/fleece and have an internal drawstring that keeps the waistband in place and prevents them from riding down. Once again, the fabric is high-quality and durable, and I definitely see these capris sticking around for awhile.
And the final piece I chose was the Women’s Kokomo Burnout Tank, which is such a fun workout top. I love the burnout style, so it was an easy decision.
I like light-weight tops when it comes to exercise because I sweat like crazy, so I really love that this one is made of breathable, sweat-wicking fabric with an open, airy back. How cool is this twisted design? So fun, right?!
In addition to keeping me cool and dry, this tank really moves with you. It stretches in all the right directions when I need it most, like at KFIT when we’re doing a long metcom with a dozen (or more) different exercises. Obviously, I am a big fan of this tank!
