Also this week we made grasshopper brownies. Make brownies as desired. Then stir up a frosting with powdered sugar, a tad of butter and milk. Then add peppermint extract. Color green if desired and slather on top. SO PERFECT!

So fun to see all these recipes in one post. Now I’m craving pancakes – yum! My favorite recipes from this year were all found through blogs – cookies and lots of baked goods and breakfast ideas.
Pumpkin chocolate chip scones suddenly just got bumped to the top of the list of “Must make ASAP!” My favorite recipe this year was probably HowSweetEats.com’s Better-Than-Crack brownies…my family LOVED them!
My favourite dish of the year is
Pureed Rutabaga Dijonaise with Caramelized Onions

Whoa, those scones look fantastic!! I hated scones most of my life until the last couple of years. Now the less-sweetness of them appeals to me! š

My favorite recipe of 2010 has to be a fresh berry and lemon curd trifle I found on the Food Network site this summer. I have made it twice and it was the most gorgeous, fresh summer dessert ever! š

Thank you for putting all these up!! I will definitely be trying a few. The winter lentil soup is calling my name. When I’m away at school, I love making a soup like that and then eating it all week. I never get tired of eating the same thing for days. The peanut butter, apricot and walnut sandwich looks delicious too!
Oh everything looks delicious! Especially the pizza! I’ve been dying to try that combination š
Thank you for publishing these! An embarrassment of riches, lol! (Can’t wait for the cookbook!)
I spent a month in the south recently and I could not get enough Key Lime Pie to save my life. I guess I’ve been a deprived west coaster wayyy too long!
Now I’m hungry. I don’t think I could pick just one recipe. Maybe the cake batter bark?
It all looks so fabulous! I went on my honeymoon this year (September) to Italy & Paris so most of my memorable meals would be during my trip: the Pasta Carbonara in Venice, the Gelato in Rome, the Lemon Linguine in Capri, and Paul’s Apple Galette in Paris!! My wedding cupcakes were also pretty fantastic š
P.S. I am new to blogging but have followed you almost from the start of your blog & I’d have to say that you definitely inspired me to create my own blog & now I am in love with it! Please check it out!!
Everything looks delish! I can’t wait to try some of these. For my own recipes, the ones that stand out the most are my Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes and my Serial Killer Dexter Cherry Vanilla Cupcakes!
