Exciting news!

In a couple of weeks, I’m hosting my first ever Twitter party with Stonyfield to help them drum up some buzz for their new Oikos frozen yogurt flavors: Peach Mango and Super Fruits.

Like all Stonyfield products, the Frozen Oikos are made from organic ingredients produced without the use of toxic, persistent pesticides, chemical fertilizers, antibiotics and synthetic growth hormones. Additionally, these frozen yogurts are packed with probiotics, which I am all about nowadays. Consuming probiotics via frozen yogurt? Sign me up! The Frozen Oikos contain five live and active cultures: S. THERMOPHILUS, L. BULGARICUS, L. ACIDOPHILUS, BIFIDUS AND L. CASEI.

In addition to the new flavors, Frozen Oikos is available in Chocolate, Vanilla, Honey, and Blueberry. I’ve only tried the Blueberry and Vanilla flavors so far, but I absolutely loved them, so I’m really excited about the new flavors.

Lunch

Today’s lunch was a sandwich-salad combo. I started with an open-face turkey sandwich with Laughing Cow cheese and grainy mustard spread on top of a piece of Paleo Bread.

The second part of lunch was a salad with Annie’s balsamic dressing.

It was an all around delicious lunch.

Snack

A couple of hours later (I ate lunch at 11:30), I snacked on a sliced banana with raisins, cinnamon, and a big scoop of almond butter.

Now, I’m heading out into the monsoon pouring rain to run a mile to keep the Summer Run Streak alive!
