My Favorite Photos from the Weekend

Hi, friends! Happy Monday! I hope you had a fabulous weekend. Here are some photos from mine!

On Saturday, Q visited CrossFit for the first time (he loved it, obviously) and then we had some friends over for a little get-together. The food spread was especially delicious!

Saturday evening involved Funfetti cake and episodes of Big Brother. Let me tell you, it was a happening night at the Haupert household!

On Sunday morning, Mal made us a delicious breakfast: eggs, hash browns, and fresh berries. Yum!

Delicious new snack: Nikki’s Coconut Butter + Justin’s almond butter = HOLY YUM! Try it.

We spent Sunday afternoon at Funny Farm (aka my in-law’s house).

Some of Mal’s family was visiting from France, so we spent a few hours with them catching up… and eating lots of chocolate chip cookies. Ok, it was more me than them, but still… cookies were a big part of my afternoon.

And my favorite photo from the weekend:

How funny is Q’s arm?! Mal said it looks like he needs a pipe and a red robe. Haha!

Questions of the Day

What was the best part of your weekend?

Is there anything better than Funfetti cake?

  1. Q’s onsie is so cute ! The best part of my weekend was taking time to relax. It’s been a busy summer so I loved sleeping in, going on bike rides and reading on the porch.

  2. That picture of you and Q is so precious – what a keepsake 🙂 It is true that no celebration is quite as happenin’ without some funfetti. It’s definitely the cool kid of the cupcake world. I’m just starting to become obsessed with the variety of Justin’s flavors, so thanks for introducing me to Nikki’s also. Always looking for ways to incorporate more nut butter into my diet :p

Glad you had a nice weekend, Haupert family!

  3. We celebrated our little man’s first birthday yesterday and had a BBQ with just family. It went really well! My man and I also hit 10 years yesterday too but we’re celebrating this coming weekend so little man could have his day (not that he’d remember).

Baby pimp arms are the best!

  4. Those cookies look amazing! What a fun weekend! Funfetti is is a go to at our house anytime we need to make a quick cake or cupcakes. This weekend was smoking boston butts and grilling chickens. Lots of fun time with our families and friends!

  5. I have the same love for funfetti cake! And, I am also obsessive about the “right” funfetti icing, gotta have the rainbow chips 🙂

  6. Your baby is so adorable! 🙂

The best part of my weekends as running the Rock and Roll Half Marathon in Chicago!

There is a bakery in Chicago that makes Funfetti cupcakes with the MOST amazing frosting I have ever had!

  7. We had so many good things this weekend… hiking, brunch painting the nursery, and game-night with friends, but the best part was probably this delicious peanut-butter & chocolate cupcake a friend surprised me with. So good! And so sweet of her 🙂

  8. Funfetti cake is always the best choice! It’s so goooood! Love Q’s little arm, gosh, way too adorable.
Best part of my weekend was dominating my Run-Bike-Circuit workout. So hard to run right after you’re done biking. Sheeshhh

  9. I love the picture of your and Q, so precious! Your pictures are so yummy, I think I am going to go and make some hash browns right now actually 😉 My favorite part of the weekend was helping my mom run our little booth at the farmers market, and going to the temple with my husband 🙂 Aren’t weekends the best?!

  10. I love a man who can cook a good breakfast! I love making lunches/dinners, but I have yet to perfect the perfect fried egg and crispy golden hashbrowns… my boyfriend, on the other hand, has! I always ask him to make me breakfast whenever we are together 🙂

  11. That breakfast plate I have been eating the exact same thing for the past two weeks haha I love eggs, and hashbrowns and with it being fruit season you totally can’t pass it up!

  12. I’ve always loved the ease of the funfetti cake. My weekend as great, especially because I finally had a Sunday off of training clients and teaching group fitness classes. I enjoyed a nice dinner out on Saturday with my husband and a nice lunch out on Sunday. It was a relaxing one. Cute pictures!

  13. My friends and i were just talking about how funfetti is the best boxed cake ever. We couldn’t say why, besides the fact that it’s fun and colorful. Boxed cake goes against almost everything I believe in when it comes to food and eating whole, but funfetti is worth it!

Best part of my weekend: yoga in the park. It was a great way to recharge after a long week and prepare for the week ahead. Glad you had a great weekend!

  14. Best part of my weekend – GF Texas sheet cake. Wouldn’t have known it was gluten-free because there’s enough sugar in the icing to make up for any cake taste deficits! The funfetti is fun and good but those chocolate chip cookies look so good!

You and Q are just the cutest! And nice arms – both of you! 😉

  15. 1) that first photo of the baby — MELT!

I must try the coconut butter, YUM!

Oh, and my wild night (Friday) was a trip to Target and Dairy Queen blizzard 🙂
