The rest of my day felt like an emotional roller coaster. I felt awesome after tackling a 16-mile run, and then I met Marie for a (much-needed) manicure and some girl talk. Fun! š
Then, I met Mal for a 60-minute couple’s massage. Unfortunately, our appointment got messed up, so we needed to reschedule for next week. (My legs were especially sad. :-?) But, the masseuse felt terrible about the error and added an extra 15 minutes to each of our massages next week. Sweet! š
Instead of enjoying massages, Mal and I enjoyed dinner at the Hancock Tavern.
I ordered a garden salad with honey mustard on the side.
And Buffalo Chicken Pizza. So yummm! š
When we got home, I packed for my early-morning flight to San Francisco. I feel like I am totally unprepared for this trip.
Mostly because my life is in shambles.
Oh, well. I know I will have fun in San Francisco. I can’t wait to see my blog buddies and meet some new ones! š
Good night! See ya from the West Coast!

So sad that Foodbuzz isn’t in my budget this year– hope you have a TON of fun, Tina!
Very jealous of everyone going to Foodbuzz but, hey, Fitbloggin’ will be here soon! š Have a safe flight and can’t wait to read all about it. š
Have fun! I so wish I was going!
Ahh Foodbuzz….maybe next year.
Have a ball!
Ahhh, gotta love manciures and massages! <3
Hope you feel relaxed and renewed in time for Foodbuzz – have a great time! š
I love the Hancock Tavern!!!! And that pizza- YUM!
Safe travels + have fun!!!! PS. What nail color did you get? š
Sorry if this has been asked of you many times… I tried to search all your past blogs but could not find the answer. I have just started running and want to take my iphone with me. What do you use to carry your iphone? Do you use an armband or a waste pack of some sort? Would you mind sharing?
Thank you for being such an inspiration to me!
Donna
Have a fun trip! I’m in much need of a girls day myself. I’ve gotta call up some friends!
i feel like my life is all over the place right now, too. i guess that’s what a canceled honeymoon will do to you! silly hurricanes… š have fun in san fran, tina!
Just relax and enjoy the ride. Have a fun and safe trip.
Have a great time!! That pizza looks amazing!
Hopefully everything works out for you and you enjoy your trip!
Too bad about the massages — I would have been so sad! But at least you have something lovely to look forward to next week!
Have a safe trip!
All you need to be prepared is you. Watch out San Fran! š
(P.S. Pizza, as ever, makes me envious…)
At least that extra 15 mins next week will feel heavenly! And things will calm down soon enough. I feel for you though. Those hectic times are hard.
It’s always difficult to leave on a trip when things feel unsettled. I know I always like to clean a lot right before going out of town. That way, I can come home to a nice, clean home.
Have fun in San Fran!
Have a good time! I’m so jealous of everyone who is going to Foodbuzz!
Cant wait to read all about FB!
Travelling in the midst of moving is the worst but I’m sure your worries will melt away once you arrive in San Fran!
How fun! I’m so excited for you – seems like all my favorite food bloggers will be there, can’t wait to hear how it goes!
Go to San Fran, have a ridiculously incredible time and forget about the unpacking at home. I’m sure Mal will take care of it all while you’re away š
Congratulations again on your 16 miler!! I wish I was with you all this weekend but will think of you as I run the marathon!! Have fun š
Just noticed that I have the same zebra print bag! Gotta love Target! Have a good trip!
Every time I see buffalo chicken pizza on your blog I drool. I absolutely need to try some! Have fun at the festival š
That sucks that your massage got messed up, but awesome you got an extra 15 minutes!!!
Looking forward to meeting you Tina! š
Nothing like some girl time with some good girl chat:) Oooh and that pizza….YUM!
Have a good flight Tina!!
Manicure + pizza sounds really good to me right now!
Buffalo chicken pizza.. holy YUM! I used to hate anything buffalo or spicy but now i can’t get enough!
Have a ball!
Ooh, san francisco!
I live in the bay area and I hope you enjoy it as much I do.
I’m sure you will have a blast once you are there and it will turn out to be a nice break before the rest of your move.
Have fun!
@Donna: Either my Spibelt or I just carry it.
@wishful nals: It’s called “Dinner for Two.” I thought it would go well with my upcoming food-centered weekend.
Hey I am sure you gonna have a great time…And cant but say that I loved the look of that Buffalo pizza
have an amazing time!
It’s hard to leave things behind and take a trip when you’re in the midst of a major transition like that. I just feel so disorganized when I do that! But I hope you have fun in San Fran! You deserve a break! š
Moving is so stressful and unsettling! You will be able to get things back in order shortly. Have fun in San Fran!
Definitely take deep breaths! I always get stressed when things are in shambles and I have to leave it that way. I hope you have a safe trip today and a relaxing flight!
so jealous of you girls that get to go to all of these festivals etc! have a great time. bummer about the massage.
Can’t help but laugh at the irony of your thoughts “my life is in shambles” versus the front of your magazine “feel organized for the holidays”!
Have a safe trip! I swear I will make it to Foodbuzz next year!!
Ooooh San Francisco! So jealous!
I just went to Republic of Wellness last weekend! They messed up my appointment too! Apparently they’re switching over to a new system. But it’ll be totally worth it when you get in there. I had Teri, she was fabulous! Enjoy!
C’mon, your Life is not in Shambles…. you’re just in the process of moving….
Have a fun trip and enjoy the fact that you get to go to a great city and see your friends!
Have fun! Looking forward to your and the other wonderful bloggers’ posts throughout the event.
Wish I was there!
-Dana
