This morning, I had planned to attend a yoga class at Real Life Yoga, but, sadly, things didn’t work out as planned. 😕
I should have known yoga wasn’t in the cards for me today as soon as I realized that I forgot my mat. I always keep my yoga mat in the trunk of my car, but I used it at home the other day. Boo.
When I arrived at the yoga room, no one was inside. I thought maybe people were just running late, so I waited.
A good 15 minutes passed and no one showed up. I guess I missed the memo about class being canceled. Bummer. 😕 My hips really needed a good stretch!
So, when I got home, I took Murphy for a walk.
I had planned to make our walk my workout for the day, but Murphy was just not in the mood. About a mile into the walk, he laid down on a random lawn and put the biggest pug pout on his face.
Wah, I don’t wanna walk.
Eventually, I got Murphy to start walking again, but there were a lot of stops and starts for the rest of our walk, including plenty of stick chewing.

Today’s lunch was a leftover Zucchini Fritter on a toasted Sandwich Thin with some shredded mozzarella. It was basically an upscale egg sandwich. 😉
After lunch, I satisfied my sweet tooth with my new favorite treat: peanut butter + caramel sauce on a Sandwhich Thin. Holy delicious!
My lunch was kind of pathetic, so, not surprisingly, I was hungry again a few hours later. 😕 So, I made myself a snack… an awesome snack: Peanut Butter Puffins Smoothie. Seriously, you gotta try this one! 😀
Peanut Butter Puffins Smoothie
Combine the following ingredients in a blender:
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 cup vanilla almond milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter Puffins
