I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.


An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Tonight, Chandra, Monica, and I got a little creative in the kitchen. We whipped up a very delicious batch of cookies, which were inspired by Matt Damon and Heather’s Vegan Snack Time Cookies recipe.


Matt Damon Cookies

Makes 18 cookies


  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups your choice of goodies*


  • Preheat oven to 375*F.
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well until batter is blended evenly.
  • Portion cookies on a greased baking sheet, approximately 1-2 inches apart.
  • Bake cookies for approximately 12 minutes.
  • Remove cookies from baking sheet and allow to cool on wire rack.
  • Eat and enjoy!

* We added butterscotch chips, Cape Cod potato chips, raisins, and chopped walnuts to our cookies.

  1. Just made the “Matt Damon” cookies!!!! I added crushed pretzels, the last of my walnuts & pecans, chocolate chips, and raisins! YUMMMMMMMMY!!!! Thanks for the recipe!
