Marshalls and T.J.Maxx Gift Card Giveaway

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots β€˜N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

As you know, every January 1, millions of men and women resolve to get healthy and eat right, but come February, momentum and motivation are nowhere to be found.  Oftentimes, money and time can be the hindrance to sticking to resolutions, but T.J.Maxx and Marshalls have the solutions for both of these challenges!

This year, rather than spending hundreds of dollars on a gym membership, new workout clothes or healthy foods, shop at Marshalls and T.J.Maxx instead! These stores carry a huge assortment of high-quality, brand name fitness accessories, and gear, but up to 60% off sporting good and specialty store prices.

To show you, Marshalls and T.J. Maxx have offered to giveaway TWO (2) $25 gift cards to two lucky CNC readers. Just a few of the great items on shelves for 2012:

  • Free weights and kettle bells
  • Weighted medicine balls
  • Stability balls in a variety of sizes
  • Yoga and Pilates DVDs
  • Heart rate monitors with calorie counter
  • Pedometers to track your daily activity
  • Moisture wicking gear

To enter: Leave a comment on this post about a fitness goal you have for 2012. Earn an extra entry by tweeting or posting about this giveaway on Facebook. (Just be sure to leave a second comment on this post with your tweet/post.) I’ll randomly pick a winner on Tuesday morning.

Good luck!

  1. My goal for 2012 is to log my workouts so I can measure what I’m actually doing. I also plan on running at least 2 or 3 half marathons this year!

  2. One of my fitness goals this year is to run at least five days a week, while continuing to participate in all the fitness classes at the gym that I enjoy too. I tend to always slack off on one or the other. I would also like to run at least 10 road races this year though I haven’t decided what distances they will be yet..perhaps a few 5ks, a 10k or two and maybe a half mar.

  3. My fitness goal is to be happy with myself.
I shouldn’t have to feel “guilty” after eating dessert and feel the need to work it off. I want to use working out at something that makes me happy.

  4. My fitness goals this year are: weighted pull-ups, increase weight of my weighted dips, bench body weight, squat twice body weight, deadlift twice body weight

  5. My fitness goal is to decrease my body fat by incorporating more strength training into my routine and trying Crossfit!

  6. My goal for 2012 is to do a different fitness challenge each month. For January I am doing a burpee challenge. Each day the number I do increases by one, from 1 to 31. Should be interesting!

  7. My goal is to train for strength this year, especially since I am working with a new horse that I am introducing to Jumping/Eventing.

  8. I always start strong but lose my resolve because it’s hard to get to the gym, working out at home would be so much easier if I had some gear!

  9. My goal this year is simply to move more. For the first time in years I am not tasking myself with any weight loss goals but to simply enjoy my body by getting more active everyday.

  10. My fitness goal is to take off the 20 pounds that I have put on over the last four months. I am ashamed to say that I lost 60 pounds the first part of last year and stopped my diet plan and working out in the late summer and as a result have put 20 pounds back on :(.

  11. My fitness goal for 2012 is to take advantage of the numerous yoga groupon and living social deals i’ve purchased.

  12. My fitness goals are to continue to do my 4 days per week (I just got back into exerciseing regularly two months ago) and to increase my strength training! Thank you for the opportunity for the giveaway!

  13. Love this giveaway! I started crossfit maybe a week before you sO it’s still all new to me too πŸ™‚ I want to do an unassisted pullup as well!

  14. Love is a splendid thing…our first grandchild was born in August, I lost 20 lbs before she was born…she will be walking soon …so my goal for 2012 is to loose another 20…so that I have the energy to keep up with her!!! <3 One HAPPY GRAMMIE

  15. My goal is to do 1 unassisted pull-up (and then continue to add to my goal by doing many more unassisted ones after that!!!). I’ve progressed from the green band to the blue band to the red band over the past few months and am really trying to kick it up this year and finally do some on my own!! Oh and I LOVE LOVE LOVE stores like TJ Maxx and Marshalls – def were I buy most of my exercise gear! Thanks for the awesome give away!

  16. My health goal for 2011 is to stay as healthy as possible throughout my pregnancy, and after I have the baby to use that healthy base to get back to pre-baby weight quickly and safely!

  17. My goal for this year is to run more consistently and complete a marathon. I also recommend Marshalls for workout gear…absolutely love the selection and you cannot beat the price!
