Just popping in to share my eats from today. We had a really fun Marathon Monday!

Iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk – sort of like Vietnamese cold brew

Eggs with Breakfast Potatoes and the last bit of the ketchup from the bottle – don’t you hate that when it splatters all over the place?!

CrossFit workout – I beat my old “Nancy” time by nearly a minute and added 30 pounds to the Overhead Squats! (The top pic is my first time doing “Nancy” and the bottom one is today’s whiteboard.)

Protein shake made with SFH protein powder and leftover iced coffee from the morning

Crispin Hard Cider OUTSIDE (!!) on the patio of the British Beer Company – I am so pumped for nice weather!

A glass of Sauvignon Blanc + shrimp lettuce wraps and then a hard-boiled egg, blue cheese, and chicken from Mal’s Cobb salad because I was still hungry

We enjoyed lunch and drinks with some friends and their kids, who kept Quinn thoroughly entertained the entire time. He had such a blast playing (lacrosse and Hide & Seek) with them, so, when it was time to say goodbye, he was absolutely exhausted.


In fact, as we walked to our car, he stopped to lay down on a rock in the parking lot and said “night night.” Poor kid. He fell asleep in his car seat as soon as we started driving.

Grilled chicken with honey mustard, roasted broccoli, and cauliflower rice mixed with white rice – I wasn’t sure if Mal would eat the cauliflower rice, so I combined it with some leftover white rice, butter, garlic powder, and sea salt… he lovvvvvvveeeeddddddd it!

Question of the Day

On a scale of 1-10 (10 being awesome), how was your Monday? 

What’s your favorite condiment? I’m digging honey mustard and nutritional yeast lately!

  1. Looks like a great day of eating! Mixing rice with the cauliflower rice is a great idea, definitely stealing that one some time 🙂

    Favorite condiment would have to be mayonnaise… I used HATE it until I got pregnant. It’s actually kind of funny because my husband has always loved it, and when I started to have insanely weird mayonnaise cravings I thought I had to be pregnant. Turns out I was pregnant x 2 😉

  2. My Monday was pretty awesome – started off with a kick ass WOD and ended with beef tacos – how could that not be great! Haha!
    My favourite condiment has to be srirracha, which I have only started using recently and now adore – or tahini… Can that be classed as a condiment?!? That’s how I use it!

  3. I think mixing that white rice with cauliflower is such a good way to still get some of the carbs from rice with volume so you don’t over do it! That is such a good idea!

  4. Monday was a six as it was the typical manic morning, had coffee but no drinks. Wine would have made the day a bit more enjoyable. I love that it’s finally dine al fresco weather!

  5. How old is Murphy now? I feel like he was just a puppy! Starting to look like a cute “grumpy” old man. Love his cute little pug face. 🙂

  6. You had so many good eats! I met a friend for lunch and we also enjoyed it outside, go New England!

    My favorite condiment right now is dijon mustard! I dip my chicken or pork chops in it as well as top my breakfast potatoes with it and hard boiled eggs! I’ve even used it to dress my salad, lol. My favorite brand is wholefood 365, the best!

  7. My Monday was average – not bad, not anything out of the ordinary, though.

    I have been DIGGIN’ some lamb lately. I <3 lamb.

    My favorite condiment? Oh, yellow mustard. oh yeah. and I DO mean the cheap kind. 😉
