So, Malapolooza wasn’t really Malapolooza this year. Of course, we had a blast, but it wasn’t a day and night full of its usual mayhem.
The day started out like a regular Malapolooza with the appropriate food, beverages, and activities.
I made big batch of homemade sangria.
Holy yum! I drank like a million glasses yesterday!
There was also tons of junk food at Malapolooza!
These chips are like crack– I basically ate half of the bag myself! š³
And lots of adult beverages! š
We fired up the grill with burgers, dogs, veggie burgers, and corn on the cob.
My veggie burger wasn’t very good. It was dry, weird, and just meh. š I ended up eating a hot dog later on.
Malapolooza 2009 was rather different than previous years.
It rained. š
But, it didn’t prevent people from having fun!
And drinking a lot!
Eventually, the weather cleared up and Malapolooza took on a whole new vibe… with babies and dogs!
Our friends brought their 15-month-year-old, Riley, to the party! Isn’t Riley the cutest?!?
And, of course, Murphy partied-hardy with the crew. He loved all of the attention!
Our friends’ pug, Ping, also joined the party. I loved having TWO pugs around! 
Ping usually doesn’t get along with other dogs, but he and Murphy ended up being good buddies.
The afternoon ended up getting SO HOT and HUMID! Murphy was pooped from all of the excitement.
He eventually passed out in a cool place.
Even though Malapolooza was more low-key than previous years, there was still plenty of debauchery!
All in all, it was a great day!
I think yesterday was probably the last Malapolooza… but who knows? š
