Anyone else up for a little mommy wine time? I mean, hello, we’re on vacation in Vermont this week, so there will definitely be some cocktails in the mix! 😉
⠀
Just because you’re tracking macros, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the things you love. For real.⠀
The beauty of a macro-ish lifestyle is that you can have ALLTHETHINGS and you get to practice moderation, too!⠀
⠀
Enjoying a much-needed glass of wine here or there will not throw you off course to your goals. All you have to do is plan for it, track it, and voila! It’s wine time!⠀
⠀
Here’s how to do it…⠀
⠀
Use your food scale to measure your wine glass, then add your wine. (I know, it might look ridiculous, but it keeps me honest!) ⠀
⠀
Count your wine as a carb or a fat. Your choice!⠀
⠀
If you count it as a carb, divide the total calories by 4.⠀
⠀
If you count it as a fat, divide the total calories by 9.⠀
⠀
That’ll give you the total number of carbs or fats (in grams) to track for your daily macro intake. ⠀
⠀
Wine is never a protein… that would just be too easy wouldn’t it?!?⠀
⠀
Drink the wine and get the goals. You can have it all, just not all at once! Cheers!⠀
