Watch Macros to Intuitive Eating Video
Are you going to be a 75-year-old grandma still tracking your food? I mean, nothing wrong with that… but I hope at that point you are liv-ing!! That’s right… living your life, enjoying your food, and not tracking every single morsel that goes into your body.
⏩ That’s why in my latest Youtbue Video, I share how to transition from macros to intuitive eating.
Here are my four tips and mindset shifts
- Tracking macros is a choice ~ You don’t need to micromanage your macros. Deciding to track your macros is totally a choice…and it’s not something you HAVE to do.
- Your body doesn’t require so much math ~ We are not robots and we do not need to eat the same way every single day. Our dietary caloric needs change from day to day, too.
- You need to trust your body ~ When you learn to trust your body, it loosens the reins a bit on those macros, and it can be a really good thing for you to stop and slow down and listen to your biofeedback and realize how your body is responding. Your body deserves that trust.
- Change is good ~ Macros are a tool for helping you progress and achieve your body composition goals, but like many things in life, diets, fitness, and priorities are all going to change throughout the seasons, months, and years of our lives. This is a GOOD thing.
Our bodies are meant to change and our minds are supposed to learn and grow. Once you realize the beauty in it, there’s peace on the other side.
