Something sad happened this afternoon. Ok, well, it was nothing serious, but sad none the less. I lost my camera. Wah.
I went shopping this afternoon to find a red dress for an event that I’m attending tomorrow night. I planned to snap photos of the dresses that I tried on for a fun afternoon post for you guys, but, in the process, I misplaced my camera. I have no clue what happened to it. I rarely ever lose things and when I do, it makes me crazy, so I’m still surprised that I lost it.
When I realized my camera wasn’t in my purse anymore, I retraced my steps to the half dozen stores I shopped in as well as their dressing rooms. I even asked the sales associates at each place if anyone had turned in a camera. Sadly, no luck. I’m so bummed.
On the plus side, I still have my DSLR camera and my “back-up” (aka old and crappy) point-and-shoot, so I can still do my job and take photos for CNC. Obviously, worse things could happen. I’m just mad at myself for losing a perfectly good camera. Boo.
Ok, onto happier things!
The best part of today: I bought, not one, but two new red dresses! Success!
Surprisingly, it was pretty tough finding a red dress at this time of the year. There really wasn’t much to pick from in the stores. Both of the dresses I bought were actually on the clearance rack.
I’m leaning toward wearing the one on the left, but which one do you like best?
Dressing shopping took a lot longer than expected, so I was psyched when I remembered all of the leftovers in the fridge waiting for me at home. All I had to do was throw ”˜em on a plate and heat ”˜em up!
Today’s lunch: grilled chicken chunks and sweet potato wedges with ketchup.
On the side, I had some Chobani yogurt to which I added homemade granola.
I’m off to walk the pug and then it’s time to pack. I’m off to New York City (again) in the morning! Woohoo!
