I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.


An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.


  1. I totally see a difference- from Jan- April your hips/thighs have really streamlined Your shoulders are much narrower, as is your entire torso. Dare I say you even have stick legs now! Even with the splurges, whatever you are doing is working. It seems to me you have the best of both worlds- an awesome figure and great treats! You inspire me =)

  2. Dude seriously, you’re probably around maximum hotness right now. Lean out any more and you’ll be looking hyper-lean, which is great for competition but not so much for real life. Enjoy maximum hotness. 😛

  3. I think you look fab – def look more toned. I think it just shows we shouldn’t be fixated on a certain weight – but on how we feel. I also think your attitude to food is great – a healthy balance without denying yourself. 🙂

  4. Definitely! The difference is showing. I love how our bodies respond to activity and reward us with a more toned physique! The human body is a pretty amazing machine if you feed it right and treat it well 🙂

  5. You can definitely see a difference, and you look great! I’ve been slightly out of touch with the blog world recently, but I always check in with your blog because you are such a motivation. You aren’t so strict with your diet like many bloggers out there. When I read your blog I feel good about myself, knowing it’s ok if I occasionally overindulge. Thanks for being an inspiration to so many!

  7. You look amazing! Your arms and your thighs are the areas that I see the most difference, but also around your middle seems slimmer too! I love how you work hard, but aren’t obsessed with the number on the scale and have a realistic approach to weight loss/maintenance/etc. It’s one of the reasons I’ve been reading your blog for so long! Every time I see a pug at the dog park, I think of you. Unfortunately, my dog doesn’t think they’re so cute; she runs from pugs even though they’re 50+ pounds smaller than her!

  9. Wow, looking good. Your face is slimmer, your waist is tiny, your shoulders are slimmer and I am sure your hips are smaller. You look great! But, you looked great before. Nice job!!

  10. i am a huge fan of CNC and you look amazing in your photos but it would hurt me not to say… coming from a girl who struggled with an Eating Disorder, don’t let your body define the person you are 🙂
