Good morning! Happy Monday!
Breakfast
My day started off with the creamiest bowl of oatmeal ever. I honestly can’t remember a bowl of oatmeal like this one in a long time.
In the mix:
- 1 banana
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup liquid egg whites
- 1/3 cup almond milk
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed meal
I added all of the ingredients to a pot on the stovetop, and then cooked (and stirred) it until it was warm and creamy.
And, of course, breakfast included a glass of iced coffee with soy milk.

Life’s short…don’t blink! And that oatmeal looks delicious!
Life’s too short to hold a grudge!
Love your Blog!!! Thanks so much for the inspiration. I have been trying to make oatmeal very similar to your recipe here. How did you cook it?
Check my FAQ page for a couple of different cooking methods. I usually make mine on the stovetop! 🙂
I want to come over to the CNC house for oatmeal breakfast — so fluffy!! Do you think that’s due to the liquid egg whites? YUM!
I think it’s a combination of the egg whites, banana, and almond milk. It’s the perfect storm of fluffy! 🙂
Life’s short…seize the day!
Life is short… love lots.
I have wanted to try egg whites and oats for a very long time. I finally did it this morning, your recipe is awesome! It’s very creamy but you still get texture in the oats which is the way I like it!
i just started reading and enjoying your blog…
i love love love oatmeal and finally had the time to make your oatmeal this morning (i usually do overnight oats) and WOW. delish and super filling! can’t wait to make again!!
This oatmeal really is SUPER creamy! This was my first time adding liquid egg whites to my oats – why didn’t I try this sooner?? I enjoyed the oats in a nearly empty white chocolate wonderful pb jar and it was heavenly!
So did you liquefy the banana in a food processor first, or?
