  2. This is hilarious. I just wanted to let you know that i have a pug too and his name is also murphy! It seems that my murphy and your murphy have a lot in common 🙂

  3. Love this!! I have a pug that looks just like him:) he is the best!! Definitely one to listen to. I just lost my black pug and this made me laugh out loud…thanks!

  4. My pugs have taught me that you can leave everything at the door when you are home there is love. And that you should eat every meal like it is your last.

  5. I have learned that you can not leave your underwear under 5 feet below where your dog can reach.. and not to let guests into your house before you or you will realize.. lesson 1

  6. My pug Sammy has taught me that you don’t” eat to live, you live to eat”, ha,ha. And you don’t leave your bags at his reach, he will unpack for you.Nobody has so much love to give than a PUG!

  7. Adopted a 12 YO Cocker years back that could hardly walk from arthritis. Changed his meds and that dog didn’t stop moving for the rest of his life. Taught me to never give up.

  9. My 12 yrs young pug has taught me whom to trust and not. If he doesn’t like you he pee’s on you. He’s my buddy and so was his son infact I loved all 5 of my puggies. Yes I had 5 all at one time. I hope that people who get them realize that they are like having a 3 yr old for a very long time and each has their on attitude and no two are the same just like us

  10. My 8 year old mutt. I adopted her/saved her on her last day of stay at the Humane Society. I am schizophrenic, and have had 3 major back surgeries. Both of these problems have disabled me. I’ve had some bad pain mentally & physically. Breeze & I have been through a lot together. She has taught me in her pain & torment that no matter how bad it gets, life is worth living!!

  11. Our dog Spike has taught me to appreciate many things, especially the little stuff. He’s 12 yrs old now and showing his age, but always “says hello” when I come home.

  12. My pug has taught me that they are the most worthless breed of dog out there and that all they are really good for is smelling like crap, looking stupid, shedding ungodly amounts…and smelling like crap.

  13. My Dad’s two year old husky, Bishop, has taught me that no matter how long you’re gone or how short you stay when you come back, you are always loved and remembered.
Every time I come home from college to see him, it’s like I’ve only been gone for a few minutes and when I leave he comes and sits in front of the gate and watches me back down the driveway as if to say, “I’ll be waiting for you to come back.”

  14. We have an 8 mo. old Pug named Gidget and she too is an underwear snatcher extraordinnaire. The family can watch her for hours and laugh harder at her antics than any 1/2 sitcom on tv. What are Pugs good for? Spreading laughter wherever they go and that’s worth a million =)

  15. A Pug Owner obviously hasn’t stopped complaining long enough to learn from his/her dog. What a pity. No pugs here, just 5 rescues who have been seriously abused. I’m learning from them to let go of the past and embrace the future. They make me smile every day even when they dig the trash or destroy my furniture. I can’t take in rescues like I used to, but I consider it an honor and a privilege to be able to share my life with my 5 incredible friends. 🙂

  16. My miniature dachshund, Noodle, has taught me that if you stare long enough, you’ll eventually get what you want. 🙂 He also knows that when he wants something (like attention), he takes it (throws himself between me and my boyfriend so he can get some cuddles in).

  17. When I feel as though nothing in the world could make me smile again, My dog does. This is awesome. What an adorable pooch…

  18. I love this post but I love the comments even more! Reading them has made my day. It’s lovely to know that that there are so many people still out there with a capacity to love and learn from their pets. The love I had for my staffie (before she passed away) was always returned tenfold. She taught me that you can always love a little bit more.

  19. That..Was..AWESOME.
I Stumbled this and I will be honest it first I really didnt think it was my sort of thing, but I scrolled. Stumble almost always gives you great stuff. So I am scrolling, then I started smiling. By the time I had gotten to the end, I had giggled several times. Out loud. Like a little kid.
    Thank you.
Right now, as you read this, take a moment (right now, this very moment) to feel really great about yourself. Be proud. You are a success.
You & I are strangers. You might live at the end of my block. You mightbe thousands of miles away. The ONLY thing I know about you is that at some point you decided to start a little project using pictures of a dog you are somehow involved with (a dog with QUITE a personality mind you). Millions of people start millions of projects every second all over the world and/or Universe. Sometimes..just sometimes a project is started, and all the stars just line up andit all falls into place and is perfect. A stroke of diamond studded genius. That is this little gem.
I was feeling strained, uninspired, unmotivated. Its 4am and I am stil working, and I saw this and it I am STILL smiling as I write this. This little post changed my mood entirely. I liked it enough to not only send it to my friends (and I am VERY discriminating regarding fwds) but to want to take the time to write this, because something you made brightened my whole night. You have positively effected a total stranger, who could be a world away, at 4am on some Thursday morning. I think that is pretty damn cool. I would like to do that. It may seem like no big deal to you but think about it, you have contributed thereby effecting change upon the world outside your spectrum….Good Job! You are a success!
I dont do it as much as I would like to or intend to but when people come along and do a good thing, something that catches my eye, I like to make a point to cheer for them, point out, hey you did GOOD! People are so quick to point out mistakes, flaws Fails. There is enough of that going around. It is not as often that someone points about the good stuff. So…..GOOD STUFF GOOD STUFF!!
I think its important to reward good behavior..haha
    Thanks 😀

  20. My Neo Mastiff and my Lab has taught me, without them my life is incomplete..I love all the naughty stuffs they do, mess my entire house, but i still enjoy cleaning it…. I just wait to go back home to play with them and forget all the stress of my day…

  21. My Dog Buffy Lu “The Joyous One” has taught me that taking joy in the simple things is FUN, do it every day…be obedient when it really matters but be prepared to break the rules. Have fun. Sleep when you can, cuddle often and just BE – wherever you are!

  23. Oh my gosh, I love this blog! I love the picture with his head out the window and his lip blowing up. So cute!

I am so glad I have Edie. Everyone always says she has so much energy and is always happy. She will always make me smile even if I’m having a bad day. 🙂

  24. i have four dogs and each one of them has taught me something. my dog summer has taught me even if the lights are on and no one is home you should still knock on the door, my dog gaige has taught me never feed him meat and then take him to bed and cover up with him under a fleece blanket, my dog ben has taught me go with the flow… of your bladder some one else will clean it up, and my dog grim has taught me make your presence known to all in the room say hi to all of them.
