Hello!!!

I changed-up my workout routine this morning and hit the gym before working at NuVal today. I didn’t have a lot of time, so I decided to shower at the gym instead of trekking home. I’m speedy when it comes to getting ready, so I’m typically in and out of the locker room in 20 minutes or less, which includes showering, dressing, putting on make-up, and blow drying… well, partially blow drying. It takes me 30+ minutes to fully blow dry my hair, so I only do it for special occasions. 😉

So, how do I do it? Check out some of my tips and tricks:

The locker room at my new gym is pretty nice. It’s no Healthworks locker room, but it has some decent amenities, like a steamroom and sauna.

I don’t know why I don’t take advantage of these amenities more often? I always enjoy them. Maybe next time?

Even with all of my planning, I still “exploded” all over the locker room. Why do I always have so much crap stuff with me?!

Snack

After the gym, I snacked on an apple and took a pitstop at Dunkin’ Donuts to grab another iced coffee. I was draggggggging this morning.

Lunch

For lunch, I packed a big salad with all of the fixings. In the mix: romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, roasted brussels sprouts, hard-boiled eggs, couscous, and shrimp. It was a good one! Very filling.

I finished-off lunch with an Old Fashioned donut. Where did THAT come from?!? 😉

Snack

Before dinner, I snacked on a couple of bowls of cereal. I had some Puffins mixed with Raisin Bran and almond milk.

Dinner

For dinner, I made a big batch of Roasted Broccoli and a grilled veggie burger.

The veggie burger is still cooking in the toaster oven as I type this, so I snapped a photo of the box instead. (What can I say, I’m lazy. 😕 ) I plan to eat my veggie burger with a toasted Sandwich Thin and a scoop of salsa.

Mal asked me to bake another batch of Apple Cinnamon Muffins, so I’ll probably eat a couple of those for dessert. I’m going to add raisins this time. Watch out! 😉

P.S. I’m featuring a new fitness challenge on CNC tomorrow morning! Get ready! 😀
